Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

I forgot to mention that his name is Billy. :crest:

I haven't told the wife why I was so keen on this over the other options.

Sorry I should have been clearer. Pretty much all the zebras look like pregnant females to me. You can only tell this from the shadows cast - I think - maybe. Perhaps it's just the angle of the photo/sun? Is there a zoologist on KUMB?

Agree, it is a stunning photo.

Posters on the GD digging out Moyes for miss-pronouncing players' names while at the same time misspelling Moyes' name.

Currently watching the big match revisited, showing our 1980 quarter final against Villa. Trev and Dev gliding across the muddy pitch, a young Alvin with a full head of hair, Upton Park packed out. I know it`s always rose tinted glasses, but what magical days they were.
The start of a few great years for both clubs, us with the F.A cup, league cup final and div.2 champions, and Villa soon to be league and European champions.

Walked past a geezer in Sainsbury's (Peterborough) today, he was wearing our shirt from about 20 years ago.

Couldn't resist a 'Come on you Irons' as I walked past him, got a simple smile and nod.

May seem like nothing but little things like that brighten the day up.

So, this is a recreation of one type of art (Monet's painting), through another (durable toy-making, which is a classic in its use).

Love that kind of thing

I'm on a promise tonight with this gorgeous woman, and I think I've got Covid. I'm such a scumbag that I'm trying to mask being sick so that I can get what I want.

It's the right move, isn't it?

Getting the histology results back after the wider excision on my back and removal of lymphnodes from my arm pits - no evidence of disease and discharge back to community dermatology for routine checks.

It's been a good couple of weeks.

Thoughts out to those on here of course that are continuing or are starting their own battles 👍
