Low tide last night, had a couple of drinks on the beach and a little paddle in the sea around 10pm. Still warm, sea was perfectly calm, the light was fantastic. Its a good life after all.

To follow on from the "I touched a corpse before breakfast" story this weekend:
After a **** start to the day on Saturday, I was invited round for a barbecue by the parents of my goddaughter to celebrte her 5th birthday. I got her the pressie she wanted and watched her little face light up, then a "Thank you" and a peck on the cheek made my day and erased the memory of that morning!

My next door neighbour can't think for himself, if he see's us doing something he will be doing it either the same day or the next.
if i cut my grass he will follow, if i paint my fences he will follow, jet wash the pavement at the front you guessed it he will follow.
I have had an inflatable hot tub since last year and not used it, still brand new but put it up last week, sat in the living room the other night and could smell chlorine, then heard the hot tub fire up, looked out and mine was off but next door had also gone and got one :crylol:

The part that made me smile was this morning my boy text saying he was in the garden opening up our hot tub and could hear voices next door, it was the man coming back to collect the hot tub, the dozy ****er had hired one for a week and it just so happened to be collected on the 2 hottest days on record and he now has nothing to cool down in :crylol: :crylol:

Surely you'd want a cold tub rather than a hot tub today?

Thats the beauty of them you can control the temp, anything from 20deg to 42deg.
I set it at about 30deg and its nice and refreshing to get in without the need to cup your balls and scream like a sissy.
every year we put a pool up for the kids but never really use it as its always too cold.
I see something the other day where someone took the heater and filter from a hot tub and connected it to their pool, had a decent heated cheap pool

Mrs DL has an irrational hatred of me leaving the pegs on the washing line when I bring the washing in. Within the last hour, she's had yet another rant to me about it, so whilst she has gone back upstairs to her office to work, I've just been out there and I've got every single one out of the peg back and clipped them to the washing line.

She's going to go apoplectic, and even more so when I'm sitting there chuckling at her.

My mate flew back in from Thailand . Decided he needed a dump as the plane was on approach. He got into the terminal and headed for the gents. He got in the trap, dropped his shorts and as he sat down his phone shot out of his shirt pocket and half under the door. Thinking someone might nick the phone be instinctively leaned forward to retrieve it and laid an egg in his shorts.

Fortunately all his clothes were in his cabin bag so he 'tided up' and got changed

Cheated a bit, though, imo, with those flapping wings at the end.

Medal withdrawn.

And sold to the local Chinese restaurant.
