Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Having a this conversation with a passenger this morning:
"Single to bingo hall please"
'How old is the little 'un?'
"Erm, she's, she's 4."
"NO I'M NOT MUMMY, I'M SIX!"
About an hour I was chuckling to myself for...

Last minute delivery arrived just now, ordered last night and my misus was complaining about why I wanted the 2-4-1 beer deal.
She placed the order, must have made a mistake, I now have 4 large slabs and 2 smaller slabs of beer!!! result!!

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
We had guests booked in for New Year arriving yesterday staying for 5 days -
They arrived at 8.30 pm last night , a young well to do Polish couple -
' We saw your advert said ' NO DOGS ' I hope you don't mind but we brought along our cat ' .
This is their cat -
There's going to be a few local pets go missing in the next few days I reckon .

Squirrel injures 18 in two-day attack frenzy
I know I shouldn't really laugh but...
A grey squirrel which attacked and injured 18 people has been captured and put down.
The animal earned itself the nickname Stripe after the vicious character in the film Gremlins.
It started attacking people in Buckley, Flintshire, last week over a two-day period.
This was much to the distress of Corinne Reynolds, 65, who had fed it since March and said it was a "frequent and friendly visitor" to her garden.
Stripe initially came to steal bird food and Mrs Reynolds said: "All those months he's been fine, he would even come and take a nut out of my hand."

Waking up this morning knowing that it's one week until road trip starts - with just one working day between now and then!

New Year's morning - glorious sunshine, weather so moderate that the back door is open, roast lamb cooking. Beautiful day.

Staying in NYE and having a "little" drink with my old man, listening to the radio and chatting.
A Golden moment,

Steak. Good cut cooked rare with chunky chips and mushrooms. Add some TGI’s Jack Daniels sauce and I’m sorted (just missing a good red but attempting to be a good boy this January)

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Having an app for the new car that allows you to lock/unlock turn lights on/off as well as sounding the horn (only whilst it's parked)
It's the Wife's car... but she's oblivious to this feature..
Just had a phone call from her as she parked up at work, and was walking away from the car.. apparently the horn started beeping, and the lights started flashing, much to her utter confusion.
I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon..
