The Quarry. Spiritual successor to Until Dawn. Mrs and I are big fans of UD so we got The Quarry last night and played a couple of hours, there's 8 characters total I think and you can delegate who plays which characters when it's their story.
Loving it so far. Looks incredible on the PS5. I thought a couple of the cutscenes were live action.

They finally released a new map for Battlefield 2042 this week and it is fantastic, up there with one of the best in the Battlefield series.
Too little too late to save the disaster that is BF2042, but at least this map will get some game time, until they take away servers that only play this map anyway

Sniper Elite 5 on game pass. Hour and a half in and only about halfway through mission 1.

Decided to have a go at Cities Skylines. It is quite addictive and I was doing well until I decided a canal would be a nice feature. Of course it promptly rained for 40 days and nights flooding my whole town and causing everyone to leave

Best city sim since the original. And there's a million add-ons if you're really obsessed.

Death Stranding is on PC Gamepass now. 30 seconds gameplay (walking a short distance) and 20 minutes of CGI “acting” so far. When did games stop being any fun?

Re: What are you playing right now?
Returned to Diablo III for the start of season 27, I might do the seasonal quests for the rewards. Not played it for 6 years. Had a nice evening. I forgot how good it looks for basically a ten year old game.
First game I’ve played for several months my high(ish) spec machine has been used for office365 and teams/zoom calls lately.

Got Saintsrow on release, not played it much tbf but I fear I haven't made the wisest of choices with this purchase.

I quite liked it. Got about 30-40 hours out of it but it is rather repetitive. Some of the side missions are funny though.

Expeditions: Rome via Gamepass on the PC.
I don't really know what I was expecting when I downloaded this to give it a try, but I am now utterly addicted like I haven't been with any game for years. Brilliant turn-based tactical battles and interesting characters (and an interest in the times which doesn't hurt).
Also started on Tinykin yesterday. Thought I'd give it a go and ended up playing for 4.5 hours straight and going to bed far too late. Not my usual cup of tea, it harks back to great platformers of the past. Except there doesn't seem to be any kind of fight mechanics at all. I thought I would hate that but it made a nice change of pace.
Both these games seem like a labour of love from their respective makers.
