Decided to play the Witcher series. Finished the first one and I'm part way through the second. Good games.

Going through the PS4's hard drive and happenstanced upon RPG Child of Light. A deviation from the norm for Ubisoft.

Farcry 6. Just got off the first island so it should all start opening up more now, but has been very enjoyable so far anyway.

Got it free with my AMD CPU (in January!) . Installed it. played about 5 minutes and uninstalled it... Went back to World of Warcraft. Not for me.RayleighIrons wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 6:26 pmFarcry 6. Just got off the first island so it should all start opening up more now, but has been very enjoyable so far anyway.![]()

Not to me, nothing else even comes close. Doom/Doom Eternal (20 odd hours in each) aside I have played nothing else in well over five years and have 100s of days played.

Everquest and Elder Scrolls Online were/are both better MMORPGS. Doom isn't an MMORPG.

Better is subjective, never played either. I never said Doom was.Metal Hammer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 10:21 pmEverquest and Elder Scrolls Online were/are both better MMORPGS. Doom isn't an MMORPG.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Back 4 Blood.
Played around 4-5 hours, so far it's been pretty underwhelming. As a massive fan of Left 4 Dead 1+2, the comparisons are inevitable. The new card system they've implemented is quite poorly explained to new players. Me and the Mrs will probably finish the campaign, but I'm already thinking 'might as well go and play L4D if I want a fun zombie shooter'.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Also just started playing this, never played either of the Left 4 Dead games. Agree in regards to the card system, it doesn't seem to make much sense to me and feels clunky at best. Went through the first few stages of act 1 on my own and felt far too easy then when I next played I increased the difficulty and it felt far too difficult. Don't know whether to play through it solo campaign with a load of bots on my team or to do it as the multiplayer campaign, Any tips for the game in general would be greatly appreciated.'stone hammer wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:40 pmBack 4 Blood.

Just platinum'd Ghost of Tsushima for the 2nd time (PS4 & PS5) but played the PS5 version and expansion download with the black and white Kurosawa filter.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Slowly making my way through Visage on XBOX - it’s a bit clunky in places, but the initial few hours were quite suspenseful and had an air of foreboding about them. I’m now doing a side mission in a psychiatric ward and it’s become a bit tedious and “by numbers”, which I’m hoping sorts itself out.

Just ran through Bioshock Remastered. Was a bit of a style over substance affair, but what style!

Picked up Gears 5 again, still stuck on that bloody awful snow level but Hivebusters is a decent laugh

Completed the PS+ freebie of Horizon Zero Dawn - liked it better than I thought I would, certainly grew on me after the first few walkthrough missions.
Got FC6 coming in the next day or so.
