I've also started playing Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom on the switch. It seems more expansive than Breath Of The Wild, although thus far I'm not sure it's better. It certainly seems harder. Although I'm not far through it yet (BOTW took me about 3 months to finish the main story originally).
bought tears of the kingdom, never really started it, let us know how you go?

Now onto Baldur's gate 3

Hoping this is as good

Hadn't played KCD2 (or any gaming) for about two months, but got back into it today.

Reached a good mission and part of the story, but tbh the first one blew me away more. This one is better in many ways, but feels overly long/waffle. A bit like parts of Witcher 3.

Much like the “zip” sub-four minute speed runs of Elden Ring, these are nonsensical to the untrained eye and no fun to watch.

Downloaded a PS2 emulator, been trying it out with some ROMs I've found. Works a treat and a great bit of nostalgia.

Gran Turismo 4 holds up very well.

I'm just wrapping up final missions in Cyberpunk 2077 - then will find some filler games, maybe a new FM Save to get me through under September 12th when Borderlands 4 comes out. Super excited

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection on the Switch 2, completed MGS1, nearly finished MGS2 and will go straight into MGS3.

I've loved every second of it so far, even better being able to play in handheld. I couldn't believe it's been nearly 25 years since MGS2 released, still feels like yesterday, I'll be sad when I'm finished :(

Finally managed to kill the last boss that was stopping me progressing to the level 100 stuff. As I am only level 90 with a home build, I was pleased as punch to pass this barrier.

I'm now dealing with level 100 content and Woolfie, you won't be dissapointed. It's doable but you have to think about it a lot more - there's a lot more sprinting etc to get outta trouble or in range for action.

I managed to tweak my character a bit with an option I was sorta frightened to try but did it and boy did it help.

There's a whole side of the game I've never seen before and it's taken me 2 years to get there, but it was bloody worth it.
Are you / woolfie still playing LE? If so, would love to jump on together.

Re the above.

No mate I'm not. It's a solid game but I can't go through building up characters every season - the grind is real.

Also you'll eventually hit a barrier if you have a home build, just like diablo 4. If you play TTRPG s and are a Mini/Maxer - LE is for you. I'm not I'm afraid and after a while it bores me.

I'm enjoying playing Fallout 4 much more. Settlement building, arming and weaponising your settlement workers, missions, politics (I'm just about to make a "crunch desicion" in the game), scavaging, upgrading almost everything - mch more satisfying IMHO.

All that said, Message me you steam name and if I'm on I'll quite happily log on and show you the basics.

Still playing it. A couple of hours most nights. I doubt I'm halfway through it. It's definitely got better the more I've opened it up.

It's harder than BOTW because the weapons tend to be weaker, and you have to find ways to upgrade them by fusing objects to them, which I like. The world is much bigger than BOTW and there's more to do with more varied enemies, also an improvement. Main downside is there's a lot of things where you need to stop and take time manipulating things and building things with the ultrahand thingy, which can get tedious.

Storyline seems to be better too IMO.

Season 36 of Diablo 3 started tonight.

Will play through as I usually do. Only takes a weekend to finish it these days. Love this game and the little dip in to complete the season is a nice diversion. Diablo 3 and 4 are the only games I play these days (completing the season and dropping it until next time fits my Neurodivergent mind and need for completion).

A certain poster here has got me back into The Last Epoch again.

I'm taking it easy and playing occasionally as I khow what looms large at the end game and my home brew character won't be good enough.

It makes a change from Fallout 4.... I'm getting to a crunch moment where I'm gonna have to sell out a faction and I'm not sure what i wanna do.

ASnyone playing the reboot of Fallout 3 - I'm thinking about it.

The wife & I took some time off work and have just finished Borderlands 4. Took us 33 hours total to complete the main story (averaging about 10 hours per day!) & some side quests but we did kind of rush through the main story to finish it to avoid spoilers before she has to go back to work (I've taken more time off to play through it some more)

Big fans of the series, our dogs are named after our characters from BL2 and this is probably the best one yet IMO.

I've only played Borderlands 1-2 back on my Xbox 360 but I did enjoy them. Borderlands 3 is free with my PS+ subscription so I'm going to give it a try. I need something daft and manic after my Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough.

I also did just finish up The Plucky Squire which I started ages ago and was 7 chapters in but forgot all about until it was announced it was being removed from PS+ subscription tomorrow.
So, I completed those final few chapters. It's a good game knocked down by some bugs that get you stuck so you have to restart chapters as well as some really annoying minigames that are rip-offs of popular titles albeit done worse.

Borderlands 3 ups the silly and the story is widely considered a bit garbage (I thought it was OK, but the villains are incomparable to Handsome Jack).

However the gunplay in Borderlands 3 is insane and so much fun. Hope you enjoy it!

I enjoyed it but it was a bit too much for me at the end game. Got to level 90 odd and stopped. I’ll probably return at somepoint in the future when the end game is more developed. It has some good ideas but I prefer the more ‘casual’ concepts of Diablo 3/4 I can dedicate a weekend(3)/few weeks (4) to a season , complete everything and leave it for 3 months until the next one rolls round. Not interested/got time for PoE levels of min/maxing.

Still been playing KCD2 on and off. I was totally engrossed in the first game, never wanted it to end. This one just seems to drag on, with a moral dillema or decent cutscene thrown in.

It is a well made game, very immersive, but just doesn't grip me the right way (oo-er matron).

I'll still finish it, I must be near the end by now, then will probably dive in to something a bit faster paced (saw a video on borderlands 4 and it looked like a nice change to my usual gaming).
