Is controlling a football on the chest a painful experience for the women footballers at the Euros?

Does their shape help or hinder them with this technique?

And where is TOMOS?

It's like these people want to have proper lives rather than procrastinate on here.

How dare they.

But seriously, hope you're ok TOMOS.

Purely guesswork but I would imagine that 'the fuller busted lady' would not normally be attracted towards playing something like football.
Therefore, lady footballers would probably tend to be less well endowed in the chesticle department, thus controlling a football on the chest would probably not be much more painful than it is for a man.
Aside from that, I don't know...

I know why we play Jerusalem for England at the commonwealth games but why do we play the UK anthem when England play football :chin:

Something I've also wondered. The Welsh sing "My hen laid a haddock", the Scotch some awful dirge that presumably means something to them, but England take on the mantle of the United Kingdom even when they're playing another constituent part of it. Puzzling.

I'd go for Land of Hope and Glory rather than Jerusalem, it's a more rousing tune.

Must be a historical thing. When England won the World Cup in '66 it was all Union Jacks, even 'World Cup Willie' the lion had a Union Jack waistcoat. I was a kid on hols in South Wales when it kicked off and even over there Union Jack world cup stuff was everywhere IIRC
As UTJ pointed out some time ago The England thing is 'relatively recent'.

Has that answered my own question.?...... well I don't think it has :arry:

I used to have a Ltd company, had to shut it down, however resulted in the business bank account being slightly in the red.

Bank with them personally and they have said that if I don't pay off the overdraft they'll shut down my personal accounts.

I didn't think that they'd be able to do this as I was not trading as a sole trader, so are they being overly aggressive and are they able to do that?

TIA :newthumb:

I don't know the answer, but I'd bank elsewhere, as a matter of principle if I were you.

Being a Ltd company, not only can they not chase you for the money personally, they cannot penalise you personally for it either - UNLESS - when you opened the account, you as a person were guarantor of the loan/overdraft, or it stated in your agreement that you had to pay it back if the business stopped trading.

I took out some business funding when I had my business, and they were chasing me when the business was defunct. I told them to shove it up their arse, then I read the small print in the agreement - and I was personally liable if the business stopped trading.

I did, however, manage to avoid paying it for the 6 years with no legal action taken and it became statute barred and fell off my credit report on 29th July just gone.

Anyway, as SH said, just stop banking with them. f*** 'em.

Just thinking about the new 5 subs rule.... Is it possible to sub on a player that has already been subbed off earlier in the game?

For some reason I read that as the new 5 rubs rule.

Imagine my horror.

........ how is it that highly addictive substances like heroin & crack cocaine are illegal to even have in your possession yet you can buy White Magnums practically anywhere.

Makes no sense.

It is no longer acceptable for white people to use blackface makeup because it strengthens negative stereotypes about black people and is seen within the history of white people oppressing and taking advantage of black people.

So why is it still acceptable for men to dress in drag, when most (as far as I know) drag acts seem to aim for either "flawless beauty" or "ugly sister" i.e. extreme stereotypes, and men have been oppressing and taking advantage of women since time began?
