It’s the same as when you’re digging a hole, you need one bloke digging the hole and 3 or 4 other blokes leaning on their spades watching.

It is one hell of a leap to think that Americans understand irony.prophet:marginal wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 8:38 am Famed for not using it, I would say that the septics are indulging in a touch of irony, to say it like that.
In the same way as saying 'that's a coincidence!' in a certain way that suggests its not one at all.

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
Quite often because we get told multiple different stories to how many people are hurt if it a car vs car then its not unreasonable to expect there to be a minimum of two people hut. RTC's on fast roads will normally have a manager sent to it as well for staff safety. If there are reports that there is fuel or fire we will send a specialist team who go around in multiple ambulances because of the amount of equipment that they carry.Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 2:49 pm Why, when there an accident with one person injured, are there sometimes three or four ambulances at the scene?
If we need to extricate the patient you ideally need more than 2 pairs of hands to get them out of the car, the more you have the easier it is.
These calls can quickly stack up with crews!

I don't even do that - I just copy and paste the url in the address bar and it appears to work fine.S-H wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 12:29 pm Click the share button of the video you want to share, copy the link, and paste it here.

I’m due down in London soon. What’s the most cost efficient way to get around on the tube? Oyster still or contactless card?

All the Newcastle in London today got me thinking what do away supporters genuinely think of London and away days in London. I don't think you can compare London to any other UK city so it must be a completely different experience to any other away trip.

Contactless and Oyster are essentially the same thing so you'll be fine just using your bank card.btajim - mcfc wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:26 pm I’m due down in London soon. What’s the most cost efficient way to get around on the tube? Oyster still or contactless card?

Might hazard a quick chant of 'club owned by murderers'.

I think I still have an Oyster somewhere but that’s fine if I won’t be penalised.We_are_BML wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:38 pm Contactless and Oyster are essentially the same thing so you'll be fine just using your bank card.

I used to love using the London Underground and would buzz of being able to get around so easily. Commuting there soon changed that.We_are_BML wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:37 pm All the Newcastle in London today got me thinking what do away supporters genuinely think of London and away days in London.
