Really nice, feels like a continuation of that jungle techno Basement sound.Cockneyboy311 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 1:40 pm Oh man! From 1995. Absolutely sublime from Jack Smooth.

Re: Early 90's Yoof Culture
Hope it's all right to post sets. Some new AWOL sets have popped up online thanks to Mickey Finn. This one just at that point before the jungle sound really kicked in.

Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton were mainstays of the early/mid 90s Intelligent Techno era under numerous pseudonyms including Global Communication, Jedi Knights and Reload. Here are some tracks recorded as Link (Pritchard) and E621 (Middleton):
Amenity, from The First Link EP, 1992. Starts quietly then turns into a stomper halfway through:
Antacid, 1994 12" single; acid funk:
Arcadian, from the Warp compilation Artificial Intelligence II, 1994; one of my favourite ambient tunes ever:
Avatar, from the 1994 compilation Trance Europe Express 3; uplifting trance:
Not all of their titles were one word starting with A, just most of them.

Mr Pritchard also made some quality jungle back in the day. From 1993.southbrishammer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 10:51 pm Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton were mainstays of the early/mid 90s Intelligent Techno era under numerous pseudonyms including Global Communication, Jedi Knights and Reload. Some great tunes in there Korea, a few i've not heard before so will definitely give them a go later.
It's not early 90's, but 90's still (just about). Thrown onto a mix i've very much been enjoying recently.

Talk about 'taking you on a journey'. This tune. Wow. Epic stuff from Q Project. 1996 i believe.
Headphones on, kick back and enjoy.
