Friday's banger. More from 92.
Gavin Cheung aka Windy Milla aka Nookie on the production.

That Jungle Muffin percussion sample I feared was going to do my head in all week, thankfully Discogs has been kind and listed it, Tears for Fears Mad World. As for Nookie, well... probably my favourite producer of that sound, another gem.

That Bourgie Bourgie sample is lovely. Used again on ‘Guitarra G’ by Banda Sonora (on Defected) in 2001. I suspect their use of it owes far more to ‘Odyssey’ than it does the original.

Nice, not heard that before. I was wondering when the sample was gonna come in and then suddenly...
And both solid introductions those Pascal tunes CB.
Sticking with the house sounds.

Ragga Twins did some bangers back in the day. Nice use of the Sweet Dreams synth on this one.

Only recently discovered this one. Had no idea he had released stuff on Lucky Spin.

Double Doc Scott.
There really is nothing to this track. Very simple indeed, and usually I wouldn't dig it, but mate, this just ****ing rolls! And it is daaark!
