Top work CB.
I've always had a soft spot for trance, it's certainly not the most fashionable thing out there but when it's good, it's bloody good.

Re: Early 90's Yoof Culture
Yep, that's a tune.
It's been a quite some time since i had a proper night out, Aphex Twin in 2019 looking back now was essentially my "retirement" (couldn't have asked for anything better to be honest). Before then i would have only attended the occassional techno thing, so i'm well out the loop as to where those sorts of tracks "maybe" would be played, it must be 7-8 years since i've been drum and bass, junglish night and looking back, dear god 90% of it was utter dross.
This sort of "new hardcore" market i think is great, i'm wondering if those sorts of nights are still very niche, i remember Skanna being advertised in Corsica Studios maybe back in 2016 (I do think it sold out pretty quickly), and i certainly regret not going. Has people like Burial with recent outputs got a new legion of fans into that sound, or maybe all the lockdown raves? I think i'm just getting old, completely clueless what the yoof are dancing to.

It's not a night out, but Clashmouth is great. Unfortunately Covid has done a number on it like a lot of things over the last two years, but I'm hoping it will make a return this winter.bunk wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 8:29 pm Yep, that's a tune.

Essentially it is a bit of a music market/get together with a bar and DJ's. So vinyl and other merch will be on sale. It takes place at the Vans store, under the arches in Waterloo.

Ditto, bunk.
Lots of decent new stuff coming out too... though if you're labelling, it's probably more 'progressive house'-ish these days.

Back to the present day (but in the old skool vibe) OOR killing it.
Absolute killer remix from Blame on this (still prefer the OG but this is equally as good)

Some big tunes in here since last visit, House Crew probably my favourite but it's a close call.
