have to agree somewhat mate with you and Elsie.Kludgehammer wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 8:44 pm I've enjoyed most of the Marvel offerings, and pretty much none of the DC ones (honourable exception for Peacemaker). and the other poster of course. I like to watch some complicated stuff to keep me into the plot.
and then there's a time to just be entertained.
but some of it insults my intelligence. maybe because I'm not a 6 year old kid who just wants pretty pictures.
one reason I gave up on THotD and TRoP.
great to look at but nothing to keep me engrossed in the plot. it doesn't have to be very involved. just some kind of plot I can follow.
I can watch Tom and Jerry and have mindless escapism.
not a HUGE fan of the Super Hero stuff but as mentioned elsewhere I really enjoyed the Capt. America stuff. entertaining. decent, to me anyway, plot. and not TOO much CGI (of course there has to be a good bit to make this work) but once I accepted the fact that there were super heroes it wasn't too much that it got in the way.
that's just imvho.
