Yeah I think we get back to winning ways this week and put an end to Newcastles mini revival.

I think Kouyate will be the only one back ready to start.

.......................................ADRIAN

JENKINSON........TOMKINS.....REID.......CRESSWELL

...............................NOBLE........KOUYATE

........AMALFITANO...........NOLAN................JARVIS

.......................................CARROL

Hopefully 2 or 3 out of Song, Downing, Valencia and Sakho will be ready for the bench.

COYI.

Reid is banned mate, and I read Nobes is out for a month. Hard to pick team when you don't know who is going to be fit.

Jenkinson.......Tomka.....Collins........Cresswell

................Amalfitano..........Nolan

.............................Downing....

..............Sakho........................Carroll

Song or Noble if they are fit instead of Nolan and Enner instead of Andy if fit

I cannot even contemplate defeat! I'm going for 3-2 to us. Hopefully we'll have some of the 5 who were out at Everton back. As already said, last season we were dreadful against them!

Suprised we haven't recalled Poyet from his loan he would be the better option than Nolan,

I don't know why but I have a good feeling about this match.

Can really see Carroll scoring against his hometown club, and can see our strong, wily midfield bossing their new young talent. Sam will relish getting one over on a club that did him wrong.

Gut says 2-1 to West Ham.

Brain says 1-1.

Think that's a bit of a naive comment about Nolan.

Poyet may technically be better but Nolan offers experience against a team he's always desperate to do well again. Carroll on the other hand...

Based on injuries, I'd go with the below, should Sakho/Valencia be fit. Doubt Downing will be back, Song won't, neither Noble.

Jenkinson.......Tomkinson.....Collins........Cresswell

...........................Kouyate...

................Amalfitano..........Nolan

“@gregah14: Are Downing, Kouyate, Song, Valencia and Sakho available against Newcastle?

All have a chance, some better than others. dg

They probably say this about ours but their side is dreadful.

Dummett and Williamson at the back is the equivalent of Burke and Rog.

This is not going to be easy as Newcastle have lots of confidence. If we don't play Cole, Jarvis, or Vaz Te we have a good chance.

We really need Sakho and Valencia to be fit, if only one can play get Zarate in as second striker.

Disagree with this, if Enner makes it play Andy, if Diafra makes it play Mauro. Enner and Mauro wouldn't be strong enough as a front two.

I'm not as confident as many on here we will win: Newcastle to win by 1or 2 clear goals.
Unless we get out strike partners back and rereing to go. :hush:
