Gaethje’s third round performance wins him that one imo

Fiziev is ridiculously quick. He will come back. Needs better head movement, as he got picked off by jabs

First round Edwards. Same as the last fight really.

I expect Usman to start taking control soon though.

Come on, Leon.

Leon edged that but the point taken off could cost him here.

Razor thin win, given the point deduction. Fair play, though, I thought that was Usman’s lose tonight, but Leon’s gameplan was spot on.

two top top headliners

couldn't disagree with either verdicts..

should all 4 get a 50K bonus for fight of the night...

have to say that Edwards was 10 times the fighter tonight than he was in fight 2..

great fight..as you know I'm not up with the technical stuff but Edwards take down defence was brilliant and his leg kicks won him the fight imvho..

:newthumb:

oh and if you're interested we had a big earthquake this afternoon..

playing pickleball and the court was moving..

6.1 at the epicentre and a 4.7 when it got here..

:shocker:

I and my friends are fine cheers.

we're a good ways away from the epicentre but it shook like "eff" here. I was out playing pickleball with mates at the park and things were shaking BIG time.

2 basketball posts were really going at it..it lasted for a good while.

unfortunately one of the older house downtown (which is only a couple of miles away) had some of the building collapse onto a car in the street and some poor person was killed.

it was a 6.1 at the coast and a 4.7 by the time it got here....which is STILL pretty strong..

thankfully it was as big as the last one on the coast but apparently 12 people were killed there.

it was around lunch time so by the time the fights arrived everything had calmed down.

was a really good evening...

Edwards was excellent.........White says Covington up next I think...

the Gaethje fight was a war !!!!!!!!

The British events also produce the best atmospheres in my opinion!

UFC75 at the O2 was the single best atmosphere I’ve experienced at a live sports event. Absolutely electric. No wonder Dana loves us so much.

Anyway, having digested it a bit, Leon’s performance level last night was superb. Technical skills, gameplan, just the right level of nasty, power, timing, had the lot. He completely imposed his strategy on Usman and was worthy winner. Can’t wait to see if he can beat that twat, Covington.

Chito is one of my favourite fighters and I’d love him to pick up a big win tonight but I feel Sandhagen is a bad matchup for him and think Cory will take it.

The Prelims have been an exciting watch so far.

Chito was taught a lesson tonight, looked out of his depth. Sandhagen better in every department. Dvalishvili chews him up and spits him out though.
