I like Lanzini. I hope he has a couple of good years and enjoys a spell back at River Plate before he packs it in.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
I'm surprised he's clever enough to use a keyboard* or even knows how to turn on a computer.
maybe he leaves it on all of the time...
*to be fair, he isn't the only one......

This (the link, it's not my youtube channel!) might be the most pointless thing that I have ever posted on the internet, and that's saying something, but if anyone has a spare 2 minutes then this Manuel Lanzini-related youtube content will put a smile on your face -

I'm proud to be our worst ever poster, and I'm not going to go down without a fight.
This new - but also old - guy hasn't got what it takes to knock me off bottom spot.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Some fans have written him off and/or think he should be sold this summer. Whereas I think he will currently be licking his lips at the thought of playing with a Payet MK II. This I think will give him a new lease of life on the pitch and the thought of these 2 interchanging passes between one another gets the heart racing.
I wanna see them on occasions when they manage to find themselves on the pitch together this season turn opponents inside out with their one touch flair and skill. It would be an absolute joy to watch.
If this doesn't excite Lanzini, nothing will. Let your South American inner beasts out boys and tear Teams a new one.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
I've got a quality River Plate shirt with Lanzini 10 on the back. Hoping he links up with Paqueta and it give him a new lease of life. Could play instead of Soucek against some teams if we want a different style. Not every midfielder needs to be over 6 foot.HammerMan2004 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 11:58 am I like Lanzini. Re: Manuel Lanzini
if vanaken arrives I can see lanzini being off for a nominal fee ; 5m.
coventry on loan would also be another departure
would keep dawson to at least january whilst we get over our CB injuries. he is 32 but has done well for us.
would also keep ashby
maybe a couple of loans in at CB and CF ?

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Debating last good game he had for us last night. I said the Tottenham 3-3 anyone think of anything more recent?
He is absolutely terrible now. Feel for him must be a confidence thing. In Moyes first spell he was so good

I don't know if it's confidence or his injury catching up with him but sadly he's a passenger in most games now.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
He was pivotal in the Sevilla home game and Lyon away. He hasn't started the season well, but he wasn't terrible at the end of last season.
