Late David Gold, Sullivan and Brady
Don't want to rile the Mods but it seems to come up in every thread so it's a debatable subject.
Personally I am grateful for them dragging us out of the mire when the biscuit barons did their best to kill our club, albeit they had the best of intentions.
However it appears that as much as they want to get us up there they just don't have the resources to do it, bit like wanting a Hugo Boss suit but buying one from Primark.
After tonight it proves that they don't have, and feel no need to provide the players needed for the situation.
I would like to see the back of them now.
Just my opinion

Re: Gold/Sullivan Stick or Twist
All I'll say is enjoy the two or three Prem games left at the Boleyn under the lights and make sure they're special, because the games that would have been really special have just been taken away from you by our owners.

I said twist in January 2011 and was mauled for it.
They only ever bought the club for Stratford.

Aren't we 7th or 8th highest spenders this window? We are clearly looking to sign more players as well. ask Everton fans if they'd take our chairman and they'd snap your hand off.
Re: Gold/Sullivan Stick or Twist
I find them very frustrating. This summer, apart from Payet, they've spent millions on players who are not capable of moving the team on. Their misguided faith in the always injured Carroll is a bad joke too.

Stick.
I can see their perspective from a financial point of view.
The coward in charge of footballing matters should have stood up and acted like a man.

Stick, seriously they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Sam out, he's gone and because we've been knocked out of the poxy Europa League people are questioning them.
Nothing like a bit of gratitude for the people who got us out of a massive hole...

Re: Gold/Sullivan Stick or Twist
* The Icelandics ran out of biscuits & money & we were in absolute dregsville with Duckers doing his thing & Zola looking like a tasered rabbit at his lot
* Terrence was like having Steptoe in charge of a football club & we were Harold every time a bit of ambition or hope of ambition or achievement sprung up
I am not their biggest fan & I believe that WHU is ultimately too big a club for their ownership, but right here & previously we have had it worse

To be honest our fans will never be happy, they'll always find someone to whinge about.DannyboyDJL wrote:We lacked creativity last year and they signed the most creative player in Europe.. BOOO.
Last season it was Big Sam, the seasons not really even properly started and people are going off on one because we've been knocked out of the Europa League.
What next ? Bilic out because we lost at Arsenal.
Unfortunately football for me has been ruined, no-one is prepare to wait for anything these days and they expect it from day one.

Silly time to make a thread like this right now to be honest. Go get some sleep and rethink in the morning

I hardly think that current circumstances would justify this 'discussion' as you see call it. Embarrassing topic, take it down unless you want to be a laughing stock.

Can't disagree with that, however we seem to survive on the history of how bad things were at certain times, that seems to be the way that we are now programmed.e17 wrote:

We have a massive opportunity in front of us and they are just hedging their bets - not good enough.
Until tonight I supported them, but now they have regressed in my opinion.

Embarrassing threads like this are the reason I don't come on here much these days. Seriously, get a grip.
