Here's a curious stat.

The right-footed Antonio has had four efforts at goal so far this season. One header and three shots with his left foot.

Upping his game after being left out at the weekend?

Cracking peformance, unlucky not to score (would that have been his first outside the box?) and an assist that I'm sure Paqueta would be proud of.

Other than the Man City game, he hasn’t really played poorly all season.

2nd home league game running he was my MOTM.

thought he had a really good game and let's be honest, his service wasn't the greatest.

and against 3 CBs, it was always going to be a very big ask....

That assist, was top class.

One day of training with Lucas and Mikey has turned into Neymar

Amazing to see what competition for your place and ability to rest a player does for them, who’d have thought it?

Watching the TV, it seemed to me like he had a new lease of life last night.

Still running hard, chasing after their defenders deep into the 2nd half.

They will be relieved to emerge from that with a point.

He worked his socks off last night, ran himself into the ground. For me that was his best game for months in the league. More of that please Antonio.

Unlucky with the one off the post, wonderful set up for the goal.

I have only seen it live, but it looked like if he had anything left in his legs he'd have been quicker in on goal and won it at the end for us and it would have been deserved, for him and us

He's been superb for a couple of seasons now, and was close to his absolute best last night.

Graft ? How much do you want

Played at 100% until he couldn't give anything else. Loved it.

Played like a man who perhaps knows he can be afforded a rest against Chelsea if need be.

Written off more times than a student loan, he just keeps bouncing back.

Best pound for pound signing of ours in a generation.

Gives Moyes food for thought on his team selection vs Chelsea. I questioned last night if him being on the bench against Villa could just have been the kick up the arse he needed. Interesting to hear Ginger Pele on radio commentary last night saying Antonio had made a number of great runs amongst the Spurs defence but our midfield wasn't picking him up. Hopefully Paqueta can be the solution to that problem.

Bit of a greatest hits performance from Mic last night. Loved every minute of it.

Regardless of performances in other games leading up to it he simply has to start in the away game against FCSB. That centre back will break down in tears as soon as they come out for kick off.

It's nice to see what a fresh well rested Antonio can do again.

Last night showed the benefits of being able to dovetail too decent strikers in Antonio and Scamacca (even if the latter had a mare).

So, three goals (1/2) and an assist in the league to stop Spurs beating us.

Decent start to the season, all told.
