Re: Trump
As I said a couple of pages back the next few elections in America will be interesting/scary.
The election officials are being scared off the job by trump supporters. And they'll be replaced by those trump supporters.
The majority will complacently stand by while a violent minority are chiseling away at democracy and the freedoms taken for granted in the western world.
This warped version of Christianity, led by a very un Christian like man, could have very dangerous repercussions for the rest of you.
----------------------------------------------------------
“I’m a Republican recorder living in a Republican county where the candidate that they wanted to win won by 2-to-1 in this county and still getting grief, and so is my staff,” said Leslie Hoffman, the top election official in Yavapai County, Arizona.
‐-------------------‐---------------------------------------------
Griswold said the threats have not stopped. Just last week, a caller to her office's public phone line said: “Hey, I’ve got a message for the secretary and I want you to pass it along. The angel of death is coming for her in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Re: Trump
9 seats are up for grabs in the Senate in November. It makes for a very big midterm election.

These lot are incapable of accepting a loss in the polls. If they could, they'd go back to whites only voting.

Re: Trump
I think the Republicans get most of them but if not then I think we'll see trouble.

Re: Trump
Just to clarify what I meant, there are some 30+ so seats that are up for re-election, and 9 or 10 of those are have the possibility to flip. If that ends up being what happens then the Dems might win a seat back. Probability is that things stay the same, or GOP gets slightly stronger.

Re: Trump
Jimmy Carter is 97 years old and he still spends most of his able free time literally building homes, hammer in hand, for the poor. He's been doing it for decades. And yet, he is still one of the biggest targets for hate and harassment from conservative christians in this country. These are the same christians who follow trump no matter what. f*** religion.

Re: Trump
I hope these hearings aren't just for show. Short of trump turning himself in and saying, "ya got me, I did it", these hearings can't be more decisive. He's literally a traitor.

Re: Trump
I’ve got less than zero faith that anything will actually come of it tbh. He was right IMO…he could shoot someone in Time Square and get away with it**

Re: Trump
John Bolton says Trump is guilty of most everything except for planning an organized coup. Why does he say that? Because he's helped plan a few and he knows how hard it is to plan them.
Wait, what?
Wait, what?

A British film maker who was with trump in the time after the election up to the terrorist riot gives his take. Interesting.

Trump announced her death on his social media network, calling her “a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.”WCpete wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 9:35 pm RIP Ivana Trump.

At the bottom of the announcement was a button to donate to Trump’s political action committee….
