Manchester Utd 0-0 West Ham Utd (05/12/15)

Post by -DL- »

Saturday 5th December 15:00

With not many to chose from up front, I would hazard a guess he will line up with:

Adrian, Jenkinson, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell, Song, Kouyate, Antonio, Moses, Lanzini, Carroll.

I fancy us to maybe get a draw, but Bilic is going to have to mix it up a bit, as his plan A ain't going to work with the personnel we have available.

if he doesn't start zarate despite his record for scoring in games he's started then bilic is a madman.

tempted to give antonio some DVDs of sakho stretching defences and stick him up top. or just start zarate up there, played as a striker for most of his career didn't he?

Adrian
Tomkins-Reid-Ogbonna-Cresswell
Obiang
Song-Kouyate
Lanzini-Antonio
Carroll

Subs - Spiegel, Jenkinson, O'Brien, Noble, Zarate, Moses, Jelavic

Perfect game to play counter. Utd have the ball never do anything with it, Get Antonio whipping them in for Carroll, if it doesn't work get Jelavic on for one of the central midfielders.

Moses to start and have a blinder or get sent off, if he has a blinder we win 2-0 or draw 1-1, if he gets sent off we lose 3-0

Probably time to start jelavic for the first time this season, if sakho unfit.

More mobile that Andy. Showed evidence of being able to link with Lanzini. Andy on for 20 minutes toward the end if need be.

We have nothing to lose from this game.
Can set up to counter.

Frustrate them long enough, and we'll walk away with at least a point.

3-0 Man United and Rooney back amongst the goals, I didn't see anything today to suggest we can do any damage to this lot

Assuming Sakho is injured....

Defensive - counter attack. It's what we seem best at.

I've picked Antonio instead of Carroll as I think he'd be suited more to the quick break counter attacking game. And, for Forest - he certainly knew where the net was.

Noble, Moses, and Carroll available as subs with a point to prove!

I can't see Bilic leaving Carroll out now that we have Sakho sidelined ( mind you I would leave him out).
Don't think he will start Song as it appears from reading an article from Song that he is being eased back after 6 months out so could be at least 4 more weeks before he starts imo.

Don't expect much from this game. If we had them all fit I would be very confident and Payet would have destroyed them.

I think Bilic will play:

------------Adrian-------------------
Tomkins Ogbonna Reid Cresswell
Obiang kouyate
Moses Lanzini Zarate
Carroll

Song Noble Jelavic and Antonio to come on for any tired legs

1-1, although this time it will feel like a point gained as opposed to two dropped.

I like the look of Burnley Hammer's line up. If you are going to set up for counter attack you must have pace and movement through midfield into the attack.

Burnley has nailed it for me.
That is inventive with a lot of common sense.

Dreading this, nothing up front to worry them means they are gonna just keep pilling the pressure with us making fruitless counter attacks

Have a feeling that we'll win

(I'll caveat that this feeling is not normally a good sign)
