His jig became folklore at the Boleyn. Remember it like yesterday.

Rest in Peace and thank you for those memories.

Tragic news. He took a lot of stick from the Chicken Run, but he always faced it with a smile. Strong mentally so no doubt he fought cancer with the same determination and humour. Cancer is a b*stard

Very sad news. It would be nice if we could get a minutes silence or applause for him in our first game at the new stadium.

RIP Eamonn.

Gutted about this.

At youth level he banged in goals galore and I made trips over Chadwell Heath to see the youth team play. He looked a very good player then.

Sadly as so often happens the transition to first team football didn't go as planned, but he played with his heart on his sleeve. The Sunderland game is one that will live long in the memory.

Never once heard a bad word about him and his reputation as a youth coach is one of high regard.

RIP Eamonn and thank you :crest:

I met his brother Pat many times when he was manager of Cork City, good manager and a top bloke.

One Friday night I was playing a gig on my own in Jury's Hotel, I parked the car near the doorway as it was pissing down as usual so I could carry all my gear into the place.

Pat Dolan was in the doorway and I said hello to him and we spoke for a couple of minutes and talked about Cork City FC and I carried on bringing my equipment inside.

When I was halfway back out to get more gear there is Pat with two big speakers up on each shoulder bringing in my gear for me. He insisted on helping me until all my stuff was inside. Top man.
