I usually sit on the other side of the ground so hadn't considered that. Heck of climb up to the upper tier!

Luckily illegal inside football grounds since about 1993.

You can't have netting up now behind goals at non league grounds.to stop losing balls either.
Surely that is in respect to getting access to the pitch in an emergency not at the side of the stand.

We was surrounded by a netting cage in the gods at Lyon.

The high bar prices and the installation of the wall are all out of the clubs hands and down to the landlords.
Deal of the century? For the owners maybe but definitely not for us.

I know its not actually related to the ground itself.. But had a pretty torrid journey to the game Sunday, a group (men and teenage boys) got on at Wickford and were doing coke the whole journey into Stratford in front of other kids/families on the train.

It made me feel embarrassed to be a west ham fan to be honest.

At half time.. same in the toilets. I wish the police would use sniffer dogs a lot more

Blimey. Not the clubs fault really is it.
Lets not pretend there isn't a problem with security at the LS though. No where near as bad at any other ground in the PL.

Sorry, but, "15 minutes before" and not expecting issues is ridiculous. Sadly, it's not Upton Park and let's be honest football has moved on enormously even in the last 5 years (Better or worse) but sorry, the days of supping beers until 10/15 mins before kick off are done. And BTW, not a personal dig but it has/and will continue to do so. Gotta go with it or get out of it sadly.

I've been contacted by @MPSWestHamUtdFC who kindly informs me that it's 61016.

Sorry to hear you had to put up with this War Pony. FWIW I had a similar experience in Frankfurt (with German plod standing a matter of feet away).

:eyes: I also see that The Diamond League athletics meet has been scheduled at The London Stadium for next July.
Thought we'd seen the last of athletics.
No Betway Cup or pre season friendlies at the stadium again then.

I'm not sure we do, nor do we get any money from it. That was my understanding anyway.

Food concession owned I believe by E20.
They set the prices, fwiw we didn't own the right to sell beverages at the Boleyn either. Brady likes to pretend to have no say over prices by selling the concession on.
Although to be fair am not sure if this is true at the LS as am not sure we ever had the rights in the first place as part of The Deal of The Century.

So that’s why our income hasn’t increased since moving and the high prices makes sense now!!

Is there any correlation to why they aren’t allowing people outside to sell food and drinks?

I’ll just have to have a few tins in the marshes for old time sake

West Ham are a paying 'tenant'. Nothing, absolutely nothing, within and around the stadium is West Ham owned or managed (including Security, Policing, Stewarding). We get some 'kick back's' on some areas of joint activity, but nothing of note.
