The Star Wars Thread - May the Force be with us (Spoilers!)

Post by Jedi Al Khalaas »

I have to say I thought the film was pretty good. With some really good bits.

Only mistake was to go and see a 3D version which is a complete waste of space as far as I can see.

5 Stars out of 5

It's not a Star Wars movie. You should definitely bother.

Its a good movie sci fi film full stop

Thing is once people start raving about it you will expect too much and it wont met your expectations

One thing to remember, no Bothans died getting the plans to the first death star.

Many bothans died getting the informations about the 2nd Death Star in RotJ.

See the movie as soon as you can because it is a film that will get you talking.

Also then we can have some spoiler filled discussions!!

Very good, not perfect but still top notch.

3D was a waste of time. The trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 looked great in it though.

I thought The Moff was impressive not so much Leia. Anyone else thinking that the Rogue One crew are now Kylo Ren's soldiers you see briefly in The Force Awakens?

Well none of it has been on screen before so it is 100% original material....

if you mean was it a retread a la Force Awakens, absolutely not, was like no other SW film before it in any way.

Thought it was absolutely fantastic, will be going to see it again as soon as I can.

Was just one bit I wasn't too keen on (which I won't spoil for anyone by mentioning* ) but one 2 minute scene near the end was worth the price of admission alone.

*Looks like a previous poster just has!

It is original as how the Death Star plans have never really been talked about.

Obviously the ending leads up into A New Hope , so expect some familiar characters and set up.

But by and large its just quality in character and script ,but not so much plot ,as we all knowroughly what happens right? right?

3D is a waste in all cases

Always go 2d

Less busy at times because everyone thinks 3D is better lol

Rogue One's crew -----> Knights of Ren is just a illogical jump ,just makes no sense.

They are Rebels ,they fight against the Dark Side and against the Empire.

Kylo Ren is allied the the remnants of the Empire aka The First Order

Sorry Appy....Its a NO from me!
