I'm curious about how they explain Kenobi turning from a man in his early 30's to a man in his 70's in a matter 15 to 18 years. Bad diet? Not enough sunscreen?

Sir Alec had only just turned 60 when they filmed SW :shocker:

No offense to Sir Alec, but he looked at least a septuagenarian.

5 minutes into the Kenobi show. Talk about unfortunate timing for this opening.

Obi Wan series 3...the directing and editing of this show is bloody awful.

Episode 3 was incredible as far as I’m concerned. Sublime, perfect tv that reintroduced the greatest baddy to ever grace the big screen. And f*** me did they do it well.

I’m two episodes in and I think the kid playing Leia is great. Usually that kinda role would be annoying, but they’re really good!

I’m not a huge Star Wars fan so I think it always helps going into things like this with less expectation. I like Star Wars most when everything is brown and broken.

Decided to just copy parts of previous films didn’t they? I always find these sort of shows are better when they go their own way rather than try and satisfy what they think the audience want.

Episode 3 was great but I feel they’ve already run out of ideas with it.

Parts of it were perfectly fine, but the rest was silly. The most secure sith base in the galaxy and they can just amble about like a stroll in the park. Then, just like in the Little Rascals they throw on a big trench coat and wander through dozens of troopers with her head popping out at the bottom and 4 legs skittering around. It looked ridiculous. I'm nitpicking, but come on, try a little harder.

Yes, they were always going to struggle to follow up on episode 3, but 4 was generic nonsense. Well made and acted generic nonsense, but still.

At least it was a short episode.

What do you mean. It was nerd heaven. I thought it was wonderful. (Just don’t think about it to much).

I thought 5 was much better. I do think that a problem with this show is that there is a big disparity between caliber of acting ability among some of the main characters. Ewan McGregor makes a fewof the side characters look bad. That aside, I still thought this episode was much better.

Thought episode 5 was great and overall I’ve enjoyed the Kenobi series.

This. Ultimately we know there is zero jeopardy for all the “main” characters so I think they are doing well to create any kind of suspense.

Much better than the 4th episode and managed to dig deep into the characters which the show had been missing.
