Sad news indeed. RIP.

Tomorrow will be his funeral.
Ironically he would've been attending tomorrows game against Crystal Palace along with other Belgian Irons.....

Only scored one hat-trick for us. Away at Notts County in the League cup, only 7,000 people there.
In fact this was the only game for us that he scored more than one goal in.
Notts County were in the old first division then.

What a shame.
I was there at Brighton when he made his debut. How I wish I was there when he scored at Spurs and I was there at Coventry last game of the season when we were signing "Don't go Francois, don't go Francois"

He was a class act. A player from the past that could easily have done well in today's game

Why was there not a min applause for Frankie today??

edit... just seen match thread that it was before the players even came out so most fans will have missed it... we really are clueless.

I was there at the Heysell stadium when he tore us aprt in the European Cup Winners Cup Final in '76.
Gave old Frank Lampard a torrid time.

Very upset that a proper minutes silence was not afforded to such a popular former player .

He deserved better than a two thirds empty stadium .

Bad darts West Ham .
