Been playing it over Xmas. By far the best game I’ve played on the console.

Glorious stuff.

Loving this console - FIFA is a little downgraded from the Xbox One & PS4 versions but that's to be expected but still a heap of fun.

I have so many games on it, currently playing through Thimbleweed Park (a point & click adventure from the makers of Monkey Island...highly recommend), Super Mario Odyssey 2 player with the wife and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Agree with the earlier poster about Mario Rabbids though, very underrated.

They've timed the releases well that I always have a new good game to play..

Decided to get one, can't resist anymore. Trying to find the best deal for a bundle which seems to be either from Amazon or GAME unless anyone else knows anything different?

The best deal when I got ours 'for the kids' was from Littlewoods.

Umming and Ahhing over getting one of these but they seem quite pricey. Do you lot get a lot of use from yours or does the novelty wear off?

I bought one of these a couple of weeks back, barely touched it as the kids have taken it off me but they appear to be loving Mario and of course, Fortnite is the main game even though we have it on PS4 and mobile...

I've bought Thimbleweed Park as I used to love Monkey Island as a kid, looking at Prison Architect as well as a 'Sim City' type of game. Not sure about FIFA yet as I'll no doubt get that on PS4.

Crash Bandicoot and Rayman are both on the list as well.

Probably one of the best gaming systems ever for all round versatility. Perfect for my kids (8yrs), for travelling and playing with the rest of the family. I doubt many people are going to pack up and take their PS4's/xboxes to the inlaws for a weekend but the fact you can take this thing and easily slap it into a tv for big screen action is awesome. Was great the last two years taking on holiday too for both he plane and the apartment.

Games worth having for single/family fun;
Mario Kart
Arms
Mario Rabbids
Mario Tennis
Mario Odyssey

I've swerved Splatoon 2 because there's no co-op/local multiplayer.

some great games for sure but wasnt enough

I ended up when taking it places would take as much stuff as I did for my ps4 for the weekend

by time you got your dock, charger, controllers it takes up a fair bit of room

No, that's not right. The console, games, controllers, power pack, hdmi cable and dock easily fits in a carrier bag.

My kids have played multiplayer games on the train using the switch screen as the "TV".

As some of the posts in this thread highlight, its a very good little console and is on a par with a PS4/Xbox for me, with the added fact that you can play it handheld and travel with it.

Zelda is an absolute gem of a game.

Ironically, I'm actually going to look at selling mine as I just don't get the use out of it anymore and hardly play it (I've got a 1 year old so my gaming / spare time has taken a considerable drop in the last 12 months).

If anyone is interested in a second hand one with some games / case etc then drop me a PM. Its in excellent condition.
