Bloodywood - Yaad.
Anyone who likes heavy metal should give this a watch/listen imo. Make sure you watch as well as listen.
Don't be put off by the length - the song is around 5 minutes. Then the rest of the video is devoted to something else, a message, I won't spoil it. Give it a watch if you like metal:

As glorious & uplifting as it’s always been:
I seriously need to see them again. Fabulous live band.

Tickets were north of £50 last time they toured. Never paying that regardless of how good they are live.dasnutnock3 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 8:12 am As glorious & uplifting as it’s always been:

Re: Your Tune of the Day
Sadly, that'd be quite a cheap ticket in 2023. Was a great show, though (maybe 2005 or 2006?) and you could buy a CD of the gig if you waited half an hour or so after they finished.Cockneyboy311 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 1:59 pm Tickets were north of £50 last time they toured. I think they played 2 nights. I went to the first and You Tube has the whole of the 2nd night.

Late to jump on this bandwagon, but I got there in the end, thanks to Justin Hawkins Rides Again YT channel. Grateful that there's still talent like this out there.

Re: Your Tune of the Day
In 1986, the first successful iteration of the Sisters of Mercy split up due to conflicting egos. In the aftermath, Andrew Eldritch released an album in the name of The Sisterhood, purely to piss off his former bandmates, who wanted to use the name, but ended up calling themselves The Mission.
I bought it on cassette the day I failed my driving test for the first time, to cheer myself up, but it was disappointing, feeling like a half-baked effort. The album disappeared from view for 36 years, until it was re-released last week.
In retrospect it's actually not half bad, and this (my Tune of the Day) is a definite lost goth classic:
Also, the vocals weren't done by Eldritch for contractual reasons, so his mate James Ray stepped in. Ray also made this absolute banger:
