Western Hero from the album Sleeps With Angels - Neil Young .
I know that musical tastes vary , everyone has their favourite band / sound etc but I challenge anyone to come up with a better body of work than Neil Young , the man is an absolute Genius Song-Writer , better in my opinion than the great Bob Dylan , Joni Mitchell and the Beatles - no one comes close , no one .

Re: Your Tune of the Day
Went for a stroll around Nairn this afternoon and popped into one of the 3 charity shops there searching for a book or two -
I never made it into another shop as I spent a full hour talking to this interesting old lady who had worked as a teacher in England , Fife and thirteen years in the Shetland Isles - she told me how she'd attend and take part in the various folk music festivals of the time [ 60s-70s ] and got interested in Scots Travelling Songs - she recommended a lady called Jeannie Robertson [ 1908-1975 ] and another , Belle Stewart [ 1907-1997 ] .

Re: Your Tune of the Day
You'll probably know this one best when The Pogues did a cover of it but Jeannie Robertson sang this version before them -
' I'm A Man You Don't Meet Every Day ' otherwise known as ' Jock Stewart ' or variations on the name -
This from Wiki -
Various versions of the song exist. A "boastful Irish ditty" of that title is recorded as early as the 1880s. It was also passed on from Frederick “Cauliflower” Crossman, who had worked with Cecil Sharp, to Crossman's granddaughter. Its most famous version is Jeannie Robertson's from 1960. A recent popular version was recorded in 1985 by the Pogues, with bass player Cait O'Riordan on vocals. In both Robertson's and O'Riordan's versions, the song's first-person narrator is presented by a woman, despite the song's masculine narrative.
