Anyone ever stopped taking Citolapram early on?
I hate them.
I've stopped taking them, then started again, then stopped again, then started again. No gradual weaning, I just stopped.
HOWEVER.
I have been reliably and very seriously advised by several people, including our own good Dr Venk, that just stopping antidepressants like that is a really, REALLY bad thing. So, yes, I've done it and no, I don't
think I did myself any serious damage (I must stress that I don't
know that for a fact; I'm not a doc, I've no idea how these things can play out in the long term). But, given what I've been told by people who would know far more about these things than I, I'd implore you not to just knock them on the head, mate. I'd say you should try to stick it out because they WILL get easier but, if you really don't want to persist with them, get some proper medical advice as to cutting them down, weaning yourself off and hopefully coming up with an alternative that works better for you.
