That really is some going, MH!
I'm only lvl 28, but considering I only started a few days ago, I'm ashamed of the amount of time I've spent.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
I've just started again after a 6 month break on the Xbox, I have no idea how people play with ESO Plus, I've had to create 2 new characters to hold all my stuff.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
You need the craft bag which comes with an ESO monthly subscription - it's worth every penny as it saves you so much time (all reagents/mats/etc go straight into your bag, so you don't have to constantly fiddle with your inventory).
You also get 1,500 crowns every month with a sub, so save for two or three months and you can get one of the nice medium homes, for example.
As Arch has stated, 'mules' are the way forward - you get eight characters with every account, use them to store inventory and to level chars up to L6 so you may get them working on writs (which levels them up in turn).
My main character is closing in on 500CP, but I'm not on an XP grind.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
I did mean without ESO Plus I'm on 7 characters now.
If I get back into playing regularly I'll renew it, the craft bag is worth its weight in gold. I'm still around the 800 CP mark but only really PVP now, I'll probably level one of my mules when Summerset comes out.

I don't like PvP, Arch. Frightens me.
Look at the state of this clown.

Summerset out today on console. I can't use mine though as Bethesda/PSN have royally ****ed up the voucher codes, which aren't working...

Should be downloaded by the time I get home.
Approaching a 50 GB download on the Xbox which is ridiculous.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
Just about to post the same a 47 gig update is nuts.
On 15 gig so far so guess no game play tonight.
Did anyone else feel a bit cheated if (Spoiler alert)
You defeated Malog Bal and the reward was for Caldwell to chuck you into another realm and make you unknown to others. Felt I could have basked in the glory a bit more

Enjoyed the Caldwell story line. Helped immeasurably by Cleese's imperious voice acting.
On which, did you know that Molag Bal is voiced by Malcolm McDowell of Clockwork Orange fame? Some others here.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
That's brilliant.
Malcolm McDowell was also the uncle of the bloke who played Doctor Bashir in Deep Space nine.
I am now in Grahtwood.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
Bought the original ESO back in 2016 but for some reason only stuck a few hours in despite being an ES lover. Just purchased the upgrade that comes with Morrowind, Summerset and all the other DLC so fully prepared to lose a few hundred hours into this!
Any suggestions on how I should take on the story? Was thinking about doing Base Game - Morrowind - Summerset in case i miss anything lore wise by jumping straight into Summerset and working backwards.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
In retrospect, it really doesn't matter a jot what order you do the quests in although I'd probably save the main storyline until you're fully levelled up, in order to enjoy the best rewards.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
I disagree, I'd do the main faction storyline and the main 'quest line' first as you are rewarded with skill points for each mission which are very useful early on, the rewards you get aren't anything special.Up the Junction wrote:In retrospect, it really doesn't matter a jot what order you do the quests in although I'd probably save the main storyline until you're fully levelled up, in order to enjoy the best rewards.
If someone is just coming into ESO now, get over to Summerset and take advantage of it being a very busy zone, it'll help a lot with dungeons and bosses.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
If it's skill points you're after you can get them far quicker and with much less aggro from searching for Skyshards, the majority of which are out in the open.Arch Dandy wrote:I disagree, I'd do the main faction storyline and the main 'quest line' first as you are rewarded with skill points for each mission which are very useful early on, the rewards you get aren't anything special.
