Griddled seasoned chicken, Jersey Royals and sweetcorn.
Simple, but very tasty indeed.

Re: the dinner thread
Slow roasted shoulder of lamb, with fresh rosemary, mint, and red wine in the roasting pan, mature cheddar mashed potato, and steamed shredded cabbage.
I'll then reduce down some strawberries in a saucepan that are just starting to over-ripen, and add the juices of the roasting tin to it, and strain it to make a luscious, sweet jus, that has a slight sharpness to it that will send taste buds in to overdrive.
Reading it, you would probably think it wouldn't work, but trust me, it does.

Re: the dinner thread
Nah, I saw a similar recipe on line a while back and thought I'd give it a go. I did forget to say above that it also had a dash of balsamic vinegar too, but couldn't be bothered to go back and edit it.The Old Man of Storr wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 10:03 pm You been watching that Heston Blumenthal geezer again ?
The recipes say to do it with a lamb rack, but shoulder works just as well.

Chicken salad, Jersey royales, 2 hard boiled eggs, grated mature Cheddar cheese and all the trimmings. One of my favourites. Instead of mayo had a nice dollop of S
mango chutney. Has to be Sharwoods. Accept no alternative

Re: the dinner thread
One of the advantages of being vegan Dan is that you are never "backed up."
On average I go about times 4-5 a day regular. To balance dinner up my breakfast consisted of a fruit smoothie - all the berries, banana and chia seeds - and lunch was a F O Salad with every veg you can imagine + sourkraut, rocket and falafal.
I can afford a Protien high, veg light meal every now and then - especially straight after training
