some of the problems with bringing kids in is that I think some of them are not quite as level headed as Rice,

I think Diagana wants to impress whenever he's in the team - not a bad thing - but there's a time and a place.

sometimes they think the weight of the world is on their shoulders, they think that a good performance might keep them in, a mistake might cost them a chance of playing again.

the position in the league makes loads of difference.

Poch had to bed in some young players due to injuries and it worked out well for him.

Winks is playing really well and I think can get better. he got loads of time due to Dier being ill.

we desperately need to steady the ship so maybe chucking more kids in even with injuries isn't the way to go.

I don't know - that's where managers earn their corn

(is that fairly positive s-h ?)

:P :P

I don’t believe Perez, Hernandez, Obiang and Masuaku really want to be here - and have played like it in January. Zabaleta’s comments have been taken as a dig at Arnie, wouldn’t surprise me if it’s wider than that and there are a few he was including in his comments.

We’ve got an awful lot to do in the summer with regards to the squad imo.
As well as those mentioned there's a chance that Zabaleta will want to leave along with Arnautovic , then there's Adrian , he won't be happy playing around 3 games a year , Reid will probably retire hurt , Carroll will be released , that's 9 layers we have to replace , 9 new players 4 of them strikers .

Better start looking now ,Dave .

Batshuayi is getting £80k a week, apparently, not the £170k spread in the media by the board acolytes! Under £1.5m ! I'm pretty sure they could have left Perez or Hernandez go out on loan and been quids in.

And his effort lead to Palace's 2nd goal...

23 years old, 6'2" attacking mid, scored 42 in 108 for PSV. Worth a punt.

I’m keen on Daniel James at Swansea. Looks explosive and a talent that could be developed.
