Sunset at Reculver. Took numerous attempts to get this right, which was getting the top bar of the railing on the right to line up with the horizon - but I got there eventually

Great pic, DL. Sunsets are always good - these were taken at Itchenor in Chichester Harbour at the weekend - swipe image to see the second one. Very peaceful.

Nice
If you look closely you can just about see Sigourney Weaver hiding in the corner behind it .

Re: KUMB Photography Thread
This is a type of image that I never thought I'd never get - so really, it's a proud Dad moment. This is Isaac, who was 12 on Saturday. I took this on Thursday when we were down in The West Country. An autistic, 5ft 10" man mountain already, he has only now started to allow his picture to be taken, and he has a confidence in front of the lens that we never thought we would ever see from him - and it's making him shine. He still has his ups and downs, but this amazing kid is starting to blossom in to a young man, a gentle giant, that lights up everyone's life whenever they meet him.
Yep, I'm a soppy old bugger.

An S.H. Monster Arts Godzilla figure, as photographed by my boy with his first ever DSLR that is his own. A nice and basic Canon EOS 2000D that he put half of his birthday money towards.
He knows about this thread, and asked me to put it in here so that it can get some 'likes'.

Re: KUMB Photography Thread
My sister-in-law buys my West Ham socks every year for Christmas. They get robbed from me before I even get home from hers. Not that I mind, as I only ever wear plain black ones, so wouldn't wear them anywayageing hammer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 9:10 pm Well he has already mastered the socks choice they are brilliant
She also buys me a big pack of peanut M&Ms, which she knows I don't like. In fact, most of what she gets me ends up with someone else
