George Russell's progress has been a highlight of the season IMO.

Can't but think that had the Mercs been fighting for the title, Lewis would have had the upper hand.......the team would have made sure of it. Hopefully he'll retire now.

Who would have predicted that not only would Hamilton be no where near winning the world championship but he would also be beaten by his team mate?

What? We know you don't like Lewis, but you must be fishing with this nonsense.

Question, did the team order Bottas be be a number 2 in every race, or was he just a very poor driver who unable to win much in the dominant car? Because to the anti Hamilton camp both seem to equally apply which is rather confusing.

You might want to note that in a true test of pace, qualifying, Hamilton beat his team mate 13 - 9 this year, even with all the experimenting on his car in the first half of the year. Still I doubt that fact suits your negative outlook, your mind is already closed on the matter.

Some will. Most will forget, and rather remember the drama and the dominance.

Once you see this photo of Max Verstappen, you'll never unsee the resemblance to a sloth...

Always thought he looked more like a fish but that works too. I'll continue calling him the Pride of Innsmouth though.

Red Bull and Honda have played a blinder with F1 haven't they?

Honda announce they're leaving, so the teams agree to an engine development freeze, then Honda officially come back as a partner to Red Bull in Japan, and they've now formally registered an interest to continue being an engine supplier when the new PU regs come in from 2026.

Shady as you like, but you can't do anything but admire the way they've played everyone.

Add to that the new regulations are based around ground effect in which their lead designer is literally a genius and the world leader in. (You might think that FIA/F1 wanted Red Bull to succeed)

TBF, there is nothing to stop Merc or Ferrari slinging a package he can't refuse at him, is there?

It's not like he doesn't have previous for leaving a team mid-contract.

Andretti looking at entering F1 with Cadillac

Hopefully they will have better cornering ability than a 1970s coupe de ville wallowing around San Fransisco

Interesting article on that BBC about Andretti’s proposed entry. Gobby Bin Suleymen has been at it again too.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/64210632

Suggestions teams want $600million plus floating around for them to enter. Madness.
