Any nail in the coffin for F1 :zippy:
You don't watch it anyway, so why the concern?

My prediction (hope?) for top 3:

Mercedes will start slow but gain over the season, picking up good points until Hamilton finally takes the lead in the championship after the summer break. He wins number 8 and then walks away. Russell finishes a strong second having to take team orders once or twice during the year.

Ferrari will finally blend a fast car with a professional pit wall and will push close for the championships but lack of experience at the sharp end under pressure will hinder them.

Red Bull will be quick and win races but Perez will have his elbows out this year so they will implode under in-fighting with Max throwing Alonso-like tantrums.
If Carlsberg did Formula One………….

I don’t have to watch races to care. I read a **** loads, listen to hours of podcasts and watch more feeder series than most. I cba with watching Red Bull cheat their way to wins.

As it looks, before lights out, it will take a monumental effort to stop MV this season.

That's the reason they re-signed Daniel Ricciardo i reckon, to put pressure on Perez, and then to ultimately replace him.

Be great to see another team break the RB/Merc/Ferrari monopoly.

Not in my book. McClaren - yes, Haas - yes. Williams - yes. Love to see any of them challenge

Daddy Stroll comes across are a horrible piece of work. Son is lucky to be in F1 and Alonso, well he's a bit of a **** isn't he?

A podium made up of Max, Alonso and mini Stroll is about as bad as it gets.

Fair enough bendy.

I don't really care about any of that stuff to be honest.

Ah well, doesn't bode well for the season. RB carry on where they left off.

A one-team cruise to the chequered flag tomorrow will have me considering saving myself £30 a month and cancelling Sky F1, at this stage of the season.

This is Ross Brawn's 'vision'.

Was really hoping Alonso could get alongside Max 'cos if there is one driver who won't bend over for Max, it is Alonso.

We have the race to go to see what long running pace is like for teams.

Ferrari were closer than anticipated but what’s going to happen here is Ferrari, Aston Martin and Mercedes will all take points each other whilst red bull waltz away.

I hope it’s not another dominant year but the rule changes have seem to have a made a new even more dominant team.

It’s a shame as red bull had matched Mercedes in the last season before the rule changes but now we are potentially in a worse position than where we were with Mercedes a few years back.

Well it’s lap 20, and having shot off at the start Verstappen is now over 10 seconds clear of LeClerc and seemingly gaining 0.5s a lap.

Its all much the same as last year.

I want to see Alonso locking horns with Max. Be great to see them going at it hammer and tongs.
