It changes 25% my opinion a bit on Diop, as I said somewhere, that hes making too many mistakes and somehow overrated...
But, still, there is a 25% in me that said, he has his aerial duels won to improve..
Albeit, Balbuena too.

Report: Erick Pulgar sold to Fiorentina
Amidst the constant rumors of Diego Demme, Sander Berge, and Sandro Tonali coming in to reinforce the Viola midfield, another name has come out of nowhere to overtake all of them: Bologna’s Erick Pulgar. Gianluca di Marzio reports that Fiorentina has allegedly paid €10 million for the transfer of the 25-year-old Chilean international, who arrived in Italy in 2015 from CD Universidad Católica
17 international starts....
Ascacibar - 3 international starts...
And for that silly money...
That was the ice of the cake...

Also, a big thanks to HM11. Not only for hes amazing lists but for staying calm when a potential signing went elsewhere. You have been very patient, sir.
The topic lost it's way from time to time but, on the whole, it has been a vintage year.

I agree UDC was a breath of fresh air and far easier to decipher than most of us are to him most like, or to me much of the time indeed. Disappointed he didn't bite on my oh so subtle Harry Potter response a few pages back but can't have it all.
Ok more importantly who's turn to buy the cake? Lemon Drizzle for me rather than the 70s favorite Black Forest Gateau of last year in celebration of all the old gits in the squad.
I very appreciate this, lads...
@ e-20, I just not noticed the joke/mention...
Maybe, its because I do not wanted to be here everyday that long, as I also have a hell ofd a life to live and to fix...
Sorry for that!

What happened to Nathan Holland in the end? Looks like he didn't go out on loan. Will he be given a chance in the first-team picture?
Edit: Just noticed that he doesn't even have a squad number. Neither does Ben Johnson for that matter. Very odd.

Loans can still be sorted after the window closes I believe.steveyrockstar wrote:What happened to Nathan Holland in the end? Looks like he didn't go out on loan. Will he be given a chance in the first-team picture?

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
think that loans can still be made in either the Fizzy (iirc) and/or league 1 and 2...
oops..
This year Championship clubs only have until 17:00 BST on Thursday, 8 August to complete their transfer business - in a move that aligns them with the Premier League window.
League One and League Two sides, however, have until Monday, 2 September to register permanent or loan deals.

KV Mechelen go to Fifa over goalkeeper Michael Verrips' move to Sheffield United
Verrips, 22, terminated his contract with the club after Mechelen were removed from the Europa League following a match-fixing investigation.
The club say Verrips "unilaterally broke his agreement" - but are not thought to have an issue with United.
Mechelen added that the Blades made a "concrete offer" on Wednesday but "suddenly withdrew the bid on Thursday afternoon to announce it a few hours later as an incoming transfer from a free player".
Sean Bean to start a march on Westminster ?????

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
I think it's today........
Clubs in the league are required to name a squad of 25-players by 5pm on the day after the close of each transfer window. So by 5pm on Friday, August 9, clubs in England’s top tier will have submitted their chosen squads.

Diadee Samassekou has just joined Hoffenheim for £13m.

I mentioned this guy earlier in the transfer window, along with a couple of others (Amadou Haidara & Frank Kessie) as the high energy more defensively minded midfielder who could play either alongside Rice or next to him. Must admit i'm surprised to see him move for such a small fee, by today's standards. Will be interesting to see how he gets on in the more competitive and high profile German league, if he has the impact i think he's capable off having I wouldn't be surprised to see him linked to PL teams for treble that fee in a years time.

Well, I told you so, folks.. Thats was the ice of the cake...
I would have rather took the money on Ajeti + 5m for Marioan, and played Silva or the other portugueise guy...
F**k Pelle and some of his typical strange signs and mistakes, like Bony and Mangala as he was in ManCity....
Really gutted to hear this with Maripan..

And ithe game was good and I enjoyed too...
BUT... Im still concerned, that we do not have that strong team some are saying...
As, the other clubs are ALL them also stronger now..
The one thing you pointed has nothing to do with what I said, and because we won today, it does not prohibed me to tell what Im telling and thinking..

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
The window closed two weeks ago. I guarantee you every single club in the league missed out on a target and probably feel they would be better if they had that player in their squad now.
We didn’t get the defender you wanted, we probably need one. It is what it is. Transfer window season is over, it’s actual football season now.

I know it, and it was more a personal wish to see the player come to us...
But, still.. Im concern about our defense... really.
Why was today Balbuena sidelined???
Was he recovering, as he was not taking part of the whole pre-season???
I just do not know... And, of course, I wish, Im wrong, and the manager proves me he is not... for the good of the teaam and us all...
Nite, mate!

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
we do need more players but we will have to wait. I would like to see another CB as reid is finished I suspect, a CM as nobes cant go on forever and possibly another RB but we have Johnson there so I hope he develops.
In the meantime enjoy the WHU ride. it was fun yesterday ! we won 3-1 be happy
