We picked up a clean sheet!
Antonio got his first league goal since Palace away.
With 2 league wins in a row now we can safely say Carrow Road is no longer a bogey ground for us.

Re: Positivity Thread
The mighty West Ham United have scored 83 goals this season. Surely a record for a top flight season ?

Still got a positive goal difference.
A MASSIVE one actually which isn't surprising.
Also we've shrugged off the semi final defeat in days. As that's what we're all about.

Re: Positivity Thread
Does anyone know the last time West Ham scored 4 goals in 4 away matches in the same season ?
Don't ask me the answer btw because I don't know. But I suspect it's a long time ago.

A little while ago some poster(s) were saying they envied Leicester City with their wonderful owners and their shiny new training ground and their transfer business. How things change in a short time. We stormed back from our Euro disappointment they flopped at home against Everton. That's positivity!

When he came back, Imagine the laughs and the odd looks David Moyes would've got if he said '"I'm going to get West Ham consecutive European spots"
And that's just from us

Re: Positivity Thread
Ten seasons ago in the 2011/12 season under Allardyce in The Championship, when we also broke our record for the number of away wins in a season.
Watford, Forest, Blackpool and Barnsley.
So it seems when we hit 4 x 4 in a season, we have to do it to Watford!

I almost trod in dog **** today. Lucky escape. I picked it up and took it in the pub to show everybody how fortunate I'd been.

Re: Positivity Thread
Just take a moment to consider where we are with one game to go, and then recollect all the moments we could have picked up an extra point or points, and then compare that with the limited number of occasions when we hung on to keep what we had.
My point being our collective glass could be over flowing with just a few minor tweaks or extra luck.
My eldest grandson is disappointed we didn’t beat Citeh, he thinks we beat nearly everyone. He fears no one. During his period of support we hardly ever loose.
What a journey!

Re: Positivity Thread
We’ve got another European adventure next season.
Brighton away we can play with no pressure and if we win and Palace beat Man Utd then happy days we get Europa league. But if not, Europa Conference will do for us, we won’t turn our noses up at it, unlike the spuds !

Re: Positivity Thread
By rights, the ESL 6 should’ve been booted out of the League.
We just won the title

Re: Positivity Thread
Love it Doc! An amazing season in many respects yet there is a small part of me that wonders what might have been ....
Moyes and his assistants will have their work cut out over the summer to ensure we remain a top half side pushing for Europe again. With change comes opportunity and Moyes has earnt the right to build on the very strong foundations built over the past 2 seasons. There is no doubt in my mind this group is one of the most tight knit, resiliant squads I've ever seen. Finish the job next week with a win over the Seagulls

Re: Positivity Thread
Did they turn their noses up at it ? Or , being the European super club they believe themselves to be, did they assume UEFA would bend over backwards to keep them in the tournament ?Hammer in Hornchurch wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 6:51 pm We’ve got another European adventure next season.

I honestly don't think they thought they would effectively be kicked out of the competition by having to forfeit the Rennes fixture.

Re: Positivity Thread
We have scored in every home league game this season. Can any other team boast that record ?
