More concerning is, looking at the menu, two thirds of the cheeseboard was from outside the UK.

At least it shows we're still able to import stuff pretty easily... :chin: :winker:

Cummings gives the pot another stir
Former Downing Street adviser Dominic Cummings has alleged a social event which took place in No 10 on 20 May 2020 may have broken Covid rules.

In his blog, he said a "senior No 10 official" invited people to "socially distanced drinks" in the garden.

Mr Cummings said he and another adviser had warned that this could be against the rules but were told the event had gone ahead.

Some good points in those tweets. Like why didn't the police on duty notice a party?

Hands, Face, Party at My Place.

How many members of the cabinet knew they were lying when they assured us that the Prime Minister wasn’t lying over his attendance at lockdown parties?

They're all laughing at the electorate, mostly because they know the sheep will vote 95% of them all back in at the next GE. The base instinct to tug the forelock and defer to their betters still runs deep within the English psyche.

"We were working incredibly hard and deserved some time to relax"

Someone in the government or tory party's huge press and comms machine surely must know how badly that line is going to be received up and down the country?

Kay Burley in on the act on Sky News. She's got some front. Suspended with full pay for attending her own 60th Birthday party during lockdown.

Brilliant

I must admit, every time I see one of these stories I get a little bit more cross that I missed my Nan's funeral and couldn't celebrate either my 40th or my Dad's 70th.

I wonder at what point - 'The Labour party being a bit rubbish' will become less meaningful than our current govt bending us over and massively doing us all up the arris on a daily basis.

A Prime Minister who doesn't know if he attended a party in his garden unless a Civil Servant tells him that he did.

Thats where we're at with this lying clown.

Chuck 5 Live on. Michael Fabricant is helpfully explaining that if you'd been working hard during all of that it would have been OK :newthumb:

I'm a mug, we followed the rules, played by the book ... and for what?

Been robbed of the last 2 years of my Dad's life, missed the last Christmas he was around for. My GF's family couldn't say goodbye to their Nan in a care home. My cousin buried his Mum and Dad on the same day ... 6 people at the funeral, none of their brothers or sisters could attend.

Cross doesn't even come close, those c**** deserve to be in prison. How ****ing dare they, implementing the harshest restrictions only to do the complete opposite.

At a time of such grave national and international perile, these absolute shysters behave like this. May God have mercy on their truly wretched souls.

c****.
