Yup. Get your money on Rishi.
He and his ilk already purged the old one-nation Tories out of government. Some out of the party. As you point out, a big waste of some decent Conservatives.

I am beginning to think the notion of Goverment for the people by the people, a lovely notion, even a romantic notion, but in reality, just doesn't work. What countries need, is a strong leader to lead them and dear old Boris, just isn't that. As a guy, I still like him, he makes me laugh but he is an idiot who is surrouded by idiots and we can't be led like this. Maybe,we should have a sort of El Presidente type character at the top, who's word go's and you don't ****ing argue with it. A real life Mr Big if you liker99c wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 7:54 pm Probably the only 2 candidates based on the main political parties in this country, so who would you rather-
Boris Johnson - presides over a government that has ordered people to not be allowed to go to the hospital to see sick relatives, not to be able to go to funerals or weddings whilst then being a hypocrite and going to a party during a time of lockdown. Who has led a government that has broken those rules with the Matt Hancock saga and now this Christmas party where there's footage of them laughing at mere mortals. Who has become an international embarrassment with his lack of ability to speak coherently, making bizarre analogies and references to the Iliad. Who has decided that instead of doing the honourable thing today, allowed someone that nobody has ever heard of (see Watford manager tweet above), take the fall and then hoped to deflect people with headline making news of new (and unnecessary) restrictions. Then I could go on about the boats of refugees and the petrol crisis too, among others.
Keir Starmer - who has not been in power and therefore has not done any of the above.
The whole "Ahh BuT ThE OpPoSitION aRE WoRsE" argument is seriously boiling my piss.
If anyone votes Conservative at the next election and Boris Johnson is still at the helm, then their head is completely ****ing gone.

Yeah, but what about the bad stuff?..

Heard the guy from Thanet on the radio. Sounded ok.-DL- wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 8:17 pm Yep, she does. But no, she's not mine. Another one of her type, Kelly Tolhurst. Just a normal girl, grew up with Mrs DL, (they're still mates) and she lives just down the road.
Another local, Rehman Chishti, MP for Gillingham and Rainham is another decent bloke. Like the afore mentioned, grew up and went to school in the area and is a decent member of the community. All three of them do well holding the (Medway) Tory council to account, and often campaign against them.
It will be sad to lose them because of this total tit we have as PM.

Have you promised us something massive & mouth-watering, on the side of a red bus & can we call you Comrade Karl? The Old Man of Storr wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 11:12 pm I've got a genuine M65 jacket in my wardrobe - if I buy a beret can I count on your vote ?
Yes, but only if it's this one & you wear it at all times.
I'll promise you Free Prescriptions and 40 New Hospitals [ yeah yeah yeah , I know that one's been done ] .
Power To The People !!
It may well be, but that is where the public are. There is no left wing uprising. In fact this has shown the public are against big government and want a true conservative government.

No conflict of interest there then, he or she probably went to the ****ing party.
Minister, two basic rules of government: Never look into anything you don't have to. And never set up an enquiry unless you know in advance what its findings will be.
