From what I understand, he's very popular with the players, and is good at what he does. I get the need for some fresh ideas, but you also have to keep the good people you have, too.

That's fair DD, excluding Nolan, as DL says, seems very popular and he also appears to be the go to from Team to Moyes.

I get that D-L but weren't there a few rumblings of discontent between himself & Moyes..?
There was a lot of press/twitter crap being flung about during the season so we'll know the truth of it if Nolan's still here next season.

Apparently taking over Southend with some American Billionaires.

As my hometown club I wouldn't mind a Wrexham like revolution at Roots Hall.

Most Premier League teams are in the top 30 now. Broadcasting revenue helps.

We need someone to coach throw-ins, that's for sure. Maybe some more creativity with free kicks too would be nice.

I'm not even sure if it's a big achievement or not. You see the likes of LA Galaxy and Los Angeles FC who have only been going 8 years on just about the same as us in the top 20.

I'm convinced Moyes and Sullivan have done a deal weeks ago.
Pretty sure we will have a new manager next season.

Despite not being his biggest fan you cannot doubt his work ethic. Hope he finally ends up a winner. Mostly because he will look back at us with great effection.

The Warburton experiment doesn't seem to have worked and, given the trigger wasn't pulled, it seems the suggestion he was here to replace Moyes in case of emergency wasn't true.
Looks like Moyes is staying, hope like his mentor, Alex Ferguson, he sees the value in freshening things up at the training ground every 2 or 3 years. I understand Moyes likes experience but he must have noticed his coaching team look a bit past their sell by in comparison to some of the fast improving sides like Brighton or Villa, a couple of bright young faces bringing new ideas would be welcome, let the players come into pre season and experience different routines and some tactical changes. We don’t need revolution, but we must have evolution.

I’ve been asleep most of the day as Nursey says tablets will keep me calm until 7th, but reading this post made me sit up!

I’ll avoid any attempts to bed bath until further notice 😱

The interesting bit for me is that Spurs have spent around £1.6bn on infrastructure yet are only £1.8bn ahead of us so it suggests to me that with the correct owners, we would be up there. We’ve spent zilch yet we are still worth £1.1bn.

Kretinsky has a bargain if that deal goes through..
