Both views have different risks
Off piste but he doesn't have an agreement to buy the club, he has an option.

Nobody is sacking or recruiting anyone atm unless absolutely unavoidable.

Anyway I’ve been told in the clique WhatsApp group to keep it on topic…

Any idea what games Moyes will be taking in while he is out there?

Was it confirmed that he went out in the end? I thought reports were conflicting.

MB, this large dildo, was it a recent purchase or something you’ve had good use of it for some time?

‘I’d have bludgeoned Moyes to death with a large dildo after the Palace game.’

Do we know when Kretinsky has to notify the club of his intention to take up that option?

It’s feasible that he can do that and then say “I’m taking the option but a) only if we are still in the PL or b) I can replace the manager”

Not saying any of it is likely, just trying to offer a different perspective

Apparently they could exercise it at any time but a deadline hasn’t been publicised. It’s an option so both parties need to agree.

Yeah I guess he can put conditions on it, but until he’s decided to pay out the other half a billion Sullivan makes the final call.

Not saying I’m right mate and hope I didn’t come over as disagreeing. Hopefully Kretinsky has taken over de facto, it just doesn’t seem that way to me.

Moyes has 18 months left on his contract, and I can see him serving it out in full. Continued European progression this season alongside a midtable league finish should be sufficient for him to get another season at it, as long as there's some on pitch progression which he's shown himself to be more than capable of when he gets a squad clicked together.

The amount of new faces in the summer hasn't helped, neither have the injuries to 2 or 3 of them that have led to them missing training and match time that would have helped with bedding in.

the thing that seems not to be clear is that Kretinsky has his folks on the board.

does that mean that "the board in general" have to vote on things, or that "certain board members get bigger voting rights.."

I know it's rhetorical but it's hard to work out what's really what with the way things stand.

I guess, "most people" assume that the "takeover" will be after the date that a penalty has to be paid to the LLC thingy.......

but as I have said several times, Sully isn't going to ride of into the sunset. my guess is that he has already written into any agreement that he stays on the board. he likes being in the public eye far too much just to not be seen in that ridiculous Russian outfit that he wears on the telly every week....

imvho of course.

Their votes are weighted in proportion to their shareholdings. I believe Sullivan now has forty seven percent, less than an overall majority for the first time since he and Gold bought the club, so in theory Kretinsky and Gold together could outvote him.

I don't think thats correct JBB.

The AoA detail voting rights and weighting.

Votes are decided by a simple majority based upon the composition of the Board.

Sullivan has 3 seats on the Board, Gold 2, Kretinsky2, Tripp Smith 1.
