Re: Coronavirus
Two very interesting posts here... no proof in any of them of anything but an interesting discussion nonetheless and something to think about. Both posts tie in with each other.

If you're the kind of person that regularly types 'TLDR' then probably don't bother clicking on them.

Re: Coronavirus
Not from me, I catch everything under the sun and currently have hay fever from hell!
My youngest is the same as me, but the eldest and my wife are basically bullet proof when it comes to viruses.
I've never been as sick as I was in 2019 and my health since is almost the A to Z of long covid. Definitely through the worst of it though.

Re: Coronavirus
After dodging the poxy thing throughout, I tested positive this morning after feeling a bit ropy the last couple of days.

Re: Coronavirus
Not too bad at the mo, in comparison to how I usually feel. I initially thought I'd over done it, after being busy the last few days.
But, alas, no. I have the lurg.

Like I need an excuse to flop on the bed watching **** on YouTube and Netflix (although there's not long left on Netflix subscription, so best make the most of it...)

New vaccine approved - first one that's been approved using the inactive virus.

Re: Coronavirus
Well I finally have it, it’s not very nice at all. Never had a sore throat like it, feels like I’m swallowing razors.

Re: Coronavirus
I've got all the symptoms going, yet still testing negative.
Reckon I might have one of those good old fashioned, less trendy viruses.
Get well soon, mate.

Re: Coronavirus
If anyone going to Canaries on holiday as from tomorrow you don't need masks in hotels or restaurants.
I think just taxis and chemists/hospitals

Re: Coronavirus
Thanks guys, throat has cleared up but been replaced with a cold and really low energy. Got a view of future years yesterday, climbing the stairs to go to the loo was an absolute mission. Fortunately I now think its on the way out. WFH for the rest of the week which is a great benefit (in the past I'd be forced to take sick/holiday days.)

Re: Coronavirus
That's pretty much how I was. Actually, even though I tested negative Saturday, and have had two negatives since too, it's how I still am. It's like a really, horrible heavy cold.wolf359 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 8:28 am Thanks guys, throat has cleared up but been replaced with a cold and really low energy.
