Haven't lost my sense of smell or taste. Woke up in the night with my throat on fire and my legs are aching like mad.

Another day in the pit beckons.

Will be interesting to see the prices

Boots claimed once free tests stopped they would lower the price.. (I doubt it)

If they are all the new ones id pay it as a box of 7 in reserve would be alright, 7 tests

If they are the ones the NHS is sending out ATM (the old ones) I wouldn't bother as for £20 you would get about 2 tests that work because the amount of liquid is too small (proven by the new ones giving triple the amount of liquid)

Fingers crossed they are OK S-H. One big positive is that Corona is obviously weaker than at the start and two (hopefully) your folks have been jabbed.

Have to have a negative test to get into a care home. Some people don't have the choice but to pay.

So lockdown has resulted in a significant worsening of childhood obesity

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/0 ... bstantial/

The irony being that obesity increased the chances of severe illness from covid.

They are dropping like flies in my office. Thankfully mild, but symptomatic for 10-12 days.

Somehow I still haven't caught it since the suspected dose in 2019. Same for everyone in my household. My youngest has sat next to three kids with it and never tested positive. My eldest had half her form off with it and nothing.
