I dunno, Puff. I went & got a takeaway the other week. I had no belief or worry that doing so, would put me in any danger.Puff Daddy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 9:33 am I've had another thought. When all this is over, although it will never be forgotten, the world as we know it will never be the same again. I put this out there, I think the future for Chinese restaurants and take aways doesn't too bright
When I went to Sainsburys on Monday & got on the end of the 100 metre queue to get in, I noticed that the bloke in front of me was a Chinese man.
It didn't stop me standing behind him, although I must admit I wasn't best pleased when he spent the next 20 to 30 minutes continually getting his snotty hanky out of his pocket to keep blowing his nose. And coughing, without putting his hand up. I did wonder if that shopping trip would end up killing me. Of course, it still might as he did seem to have at the least, some kind of cough & cold symptoms.
As they have said in the media, it's important that we don't demonise people just for being or looking Chinese.
So long as people cooking or serving Chinese food, use the usual safe food preparation procedures, eating Chinese food shouldn't be any more dangerous than eating any other food.
