Well, we have it there in hard statistics. He is worth more than Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku. :winker:

Mostly great today. Sort of glad he got 15 minutes rest.

No idea how to post pics here but this one’s great:

Clear red, and a lengthy ban. No way did he need to swing his leg back like that, the dirty ****.

Thought Tomas looked a lot more involved than he has been lately. FWIW watching the replay I think the boot to the face was accidental.

Looked less knackered today imo than previously, mind you it may have been the illusion that a sharp haircut gives you :crylol:

Soucek had his best performance of the season today with Rice finally sitting more deeper today. What a coincidence. That’s all Moyesy needed to do. Ask Rice to have more discipline.

Added to that it's not like it inhibited Rice's game.
Rice ran the game with his positioning and passing.

Win win.

Hope Rice realises its not about assist/goal stats. Busquets, Carrick, even Modric don't look great in end product stats and fantasy football as they only look at final couple of touches.

I thought it was a total accident. The Everton player's reaction was one of concern too. Having said that, bloody dangerous, could've had his eye out!

Shame his goal was ruled out, cos that was the Soucek of last season, but he will get a few more like that which wil count, so keep getting in there Tommy

I thought we looked much, much better today with Soucek and Rice returning to their 'usual' positions.

No way is that an accident. He maybe didn't intend to get his face, but he knew exactly where Soucek was and pulled his leg back to intentionally make contact.

I agree, it's no surprise that Soucek & Rice looked great today, they both played their best roles in the team, Tomas as box to box midfield enforcer & Dec as swashbuckling defensive midfield general...

Edit:- That looks filthy in slow motion alright

Looking at it again, in slo mo it does look like he leaves his leg out unnaturally to give a dig to Tomas. Hard one to call for the ref, who was **** anyway.

Didn't VAR look at it?

That wasn't natural movement of the foot.
