If Bowen could work of his finishing, he would be worth even more!!! Could (should) have had a hat trick on Weds, Not the first time either

A player is having a really good season yet some posters are still picking holes. Just enjoy him playing well FFS.
A Spurs troll is picking holes.

Sometimes players are priceless.

Rice and Bowen are so.

Whether £60m or £200m is 'more' than they are worth and how you could theoretically use it to buy x amount of replacements and so on and so forth, you can't replace the innate value they have woven into the fabric of the Club.

I wouldn't sell them for that even if you told me we would sign a good RW, CM, LB and CB with the money. We'd still be worse off than we are right now. They are both critical to West Ham, on the pitch and off it, for the present and the future. More so Rice obviously, but Bowen is fast trending into that same strata.

This season so far, and in fact 2021 as a whole, Bowen has been far more influential and productive in the PL than the likes of Kane, Rashford, Greenwood, Grealish & Son to name just 5

He's also just 25 years old and English

And some trolling idiot thinks we should sell him for under 30m
More productive than Kane and Rashford together!

I've been on this forum for a long time. I enjoy it immensely ~ and to give him his dues you have to remember that Ol' Turts is choosing to spend his life doing this stuff ~ and occasionally it's even entertaining but when you come out with a valuation of £27.5m for a young English player with no ceiling who is ripping up the league you go from being a turtle head to a full blown turd.

Lost all credibility even as a troll. That's some going. I'm now sad.

I dare say that 9898 has got enough satisfaction from the response he's got from his deliberately provocative Bowen post. He did his time on a smaller West Ham forum and now is trying it out here.

Apologies if I am breaking site rules by posting a link to this post. It's from the other forum he posts on where he is called 9898 and has been winding everyone up for years.

Here he is asking about himself:

Again, apologies if this breaks site rules.

"Imo, his game management - positioning, decision making - is pretty horrendous. Needs an awful lot of work."

f*** me, is there a West Ham player that he actually does rate?

I've seen him now paste Bowen, Antonio, Rice, Soucek and Coufal, and now Zouma.

We are 4th in the league and through to the last 16 of the EL after all. We must have SOME good players?

I’m sorry but the randomness of his profile picture on that other forum is very very funny to me

Anyway, Salah looks like he’s going to play his contract down so I think they’ll be interested if he keeps up this form

Call me over enthusiastic, but surely we are on the verge of producing a great team? Guys like Rice, Bowen, Fornals and Vlasic could go down as very special players. Great players come and go, but it is the weaving together of talents that really allows teams to get to that higher level.

Hopefully, in one or two more seasons I think we are. :newthumb:

I'll answer this once so I post about football on a football forum.
No idea who this 9898 fella is.
Strange pack mentality because some people don't like my opinions.
Lots of posts just personal abuse rather than replying to the points I write.

That truly is tragic.

Turtlehead, do you need a hug?

Instead of snapping at turtlehead, why don't we show him the love he so clearly craves.

It's ok babes, you're not alone anymore..

It feels that way to me as well. I don't think I can recall a past team, including the squad players, that look like they enjoy playing for each other and the shirt, rather than just 'picking up the wages' so to speak. That togetherness has definitely got us more points on the board than we would have had otherwise.

No way is Bowen worth 60 million. Dresses far too conservatively to be considered a top footballer. Needs flashier clothing, so room for improvement.

Indeed - it'll be the difference between weaving together and stitching up. Time (and owners) will tell...
