Absolutely and made the Warnock comment look ridiculous.

2 Great finishes tonight. Not bad for someone who will “never be a good striker.”

Stephen Warnock probably thinks Jarrod Bowen is a part-time farmer from Hereford.

Absolute joke if he doesn’t get an England call up.

He will get a call-up

If only his finishing was more reliable, he would be banging them in left right and centre

Adore the fella. I genuinely wonder his price, not that I'd ever sell but just as a curiosity of how his stock has risen? God I love him though. What a footballer. Interesting to see Moyes keep his feet on the floor with his comments post match (doing well, getting better etc).

What a player. :muscle:

I hope he doesn't personally.
Gives him a bit of a break every now and then and keeps him a little bit away from the front of the shop window.

Next England game isn't until June I don't think.

It's not like he isn't getting seen by the world and a non international will mean teams try low ball bids and he may think he needs to move.

Bloke is an absolute animal.
He runs and runs and runs and then when everyone else is huffing and puffing on the 89th minute he'll still chase lost causes, then gets back to help in defence, and will then sprint for a counter attack (and score).
And then he'll do a few more sprints.
Animal.

The epitome of a 'David Moyes Player'. A workrate that accentuates his natural ability. Credit to the player and the manager. It really is impressive the way Moyes can get his players to want to improve. How many times was Bowen subbed off on around 75 mins last season? In the last two games, he's scored the goal that has killed the game in the last 10 minutes. I don't think these things are a coincidence.

I’m going to spoil the party.

He’s really got to score more. Should have had 5 tonight and he does miss a fair few chances.

If he finished a tiny bit better, he’d be on 20 goals already.

He has intelligent movement in the area. So refreshing to see him make different runs in the box. I never once saw Andy Carroll make a front post run, I thought he was 'playable' in that you knew what he would do. Pull onto the back post. Bowen has all sorts of intelligent play about him, and does find space in the area. His first goal tonight was so enjoyable because of that (OK - terrible defending). I don't think we should be lamenting him not being on 20 goals, but should be impressed that his head never goes down and he offers many different threats. A superb player. If he improves his finishing then we've probably got a Mane/Salah level player. His numbers are already excellent. And the best thing is that he knows it's his manager that has helped him get to this level.

Agree with this, but he is contributing more than most strikers/creative players we've had in quite some time and thats important to remember.

Even your Sergio Aguero's & Harry Kanes miss good chances, but they score so many because their teams create so many, and thats kind of what happens to Bowen too.
