I understand there is a thread on Numb but I just wanted to discuss the possible implications to the sporting calendar now that the Ireland rugby game had been postponed.

Hopefully we will be out of the woods shortly but if not could the Premier league be suspended? If so how long? Would all games be void and restart in August?

Would we then stay up?

Would Liverpool have to start again?

If things get worse I can see games being suspended.
If it goes on and lots of games are having to be rescheduled then at some point they may have to scrap the season. Either that or play games behind close doors.

I think the Inter game tomorrow night is to be played behind closed doors? Surely that must come first, before we start awarding titles and finishing the season early.

Hear that the Sheff Utd Lawyers are just arriving at CAS. Several of their players had the "Corona" Virus and couldnt play thus denying them the title/the chance to qualify for europe.

It is possible the Euro footie finals this summer could be at serious risk, even the summer Olympics in Japan. Right now, I can't see how either can go ahead
