Driveway, Chelmsford.

Looking at getting parking for two vehicles to front of house. Possibly some landscaping as well. Garden is approximately 60 square metres, would think the parking would be around half of this.
Anyone in the business or had similar work carried out?

We've just had ours done last week, 60m2 with space for 3 cars (next door have one of the spaces).

For new tarmac it was £3,500. We had a 2nd quote for a resin finish, this was £5,500 + VAT.

We settled for in-between, which was the tarmac plus £800 for a bonded screed where they lay the adhesive and sprinkle about 10mm of small multi-coloured stones on. We did this partly for security as we can now hear visitors walking up to the door. Really pleased with the result.

Bit late but hope this info helps

It's always helpful to get a rough idea of how much this sort of thing costs. It all got put on hold because of furlough but it's still a thing.
Cheers.

If you're still looking at getting it done alf, my brother in laws mate does drives/fencing and is based in chelmsford. I'll find what firm it is. I know he did the drive/wall for a house on the corner of Chigwell road (by the lights before the BP garage) before you get to Roxwell side of chelmsford. Quite a big drive and looks a solid job.
