Such sad news.

I didn't know Dennis but it's clear from the posts on here and elsewhere that he was West Ham to the core, a very special man and loved deeply by those who did know him.

To his family and friends, my very best wishes.

RIP Dennis.

Sad news to awake to.

Dennis was of course one of the club's most prominent and well-respected supporters, who exemplified that community spirit we try to engender here on KUMB.

God bless and Godspeed, fellow Hammer.

I can't claim to have known or even have met Dennis but he was a instantly recognisable face at any away day.
My thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends at what will be a terrible time.

I used to run a few of the Havering District football teams, and used to spot Dennis at lots of WHU games and recognise him as the man who used to appear and watch a lot of our games when playing around Havering / Hainault area. He was regularly on the touchline just watching football at places.

I always thought at first he was a scout watching some of the boys, but perhaps it was just clear this man had a love and passion for football like no other.

RIP Dennis.
