Re: Dennis Lepine
We never met but we passed once or twice at games, a nodding acquaintance you might say. You were part of the heart of the Club and you will be sorely missed.
RIP Dennis.

Re: Dennis Lepine
I was saddened and Shocked to hear that Dennis passed away.
I met him last month at Queens Hospital, after he had recently found out the diagnosis. I was in having to spend my 1st time ever in hospital for more than a couple hours and having my 1st op ever as well. Having someone like Dennis there to chat to after was great and comforting. You could see his great passion for the club and hearing his stories surrounding some our youth players was a joy. Also his passion when talking of Hammers United and all the friends he had met throughout the years such as Bubbles and Bill.
A truly friendly and nice man, my sympathies and best wishes to his family and friends at this time.
RIP Dennis it was a pleasure to meet you.

Re: Dennis Lepine
How very very sad - this thread is a fantastic tribute to quite clearly a wonderful man that touched so many people.
I sadly never had the pleasure of meeting the great man, but knew who he was & shared the odd nod as we passed at football.
My condolences to his family & friends, hope you can take a little comfort at this sad time that Dennis was hugely respected & loved
Declan, pure heartfelt & quite lovely words from him

Re: Dennis Lepine
Away trips will not be the same.
I recall him approaching us on an away day when we stopped for beers at a Wetherspoon. He said “Behave yourselves, they don’t know we’re coming”

Re: Dennis Lepine
Cheers aboooooooooo for the video. It gives context and appreciation to those of us who don't get to go to matches. I'm grateful to people like Dennis and the regulars who make the away trips. It's people like Dennis that keep the feeling alive for those of us watching from afar.
